Home sweet Home

Critical Gamer Writes: By now most of you will have spent at least 5 minutes wandering around Home on the PS3. Sony promised a lot from the social app, but have they really delivered on these promises?

I have to wait too long to get into stuff

zootang6093d ago

I love it! i'm always playing poker with friends. There is alot of older women on the poker (strange) The Buzz quiz is a laugh, and i meet the odd person from time to time. All free so i can't complain.

I will though. it could be faster because when you are waiting for a space to load it's a bore fest. Why has EA got a million rooms. why not just one big one

There are a few places I do question why they added (Gamers Lounge is a big ? on my end) however it does feel good to at least have something else to do if theres nothing else to do at the time.

My only real suggestion is have every space linked up together somehow so instead of going into the menu a lot you can just run to each space from one central location; I'm not talking about the central plaza to the movie theater (thats already standard) but have it where you can go from central to like the EA room or even Socom area.

I'm sure people are gonna complain about the "bots" but usually the ignore takes care of them outside the usual reporting

If they can add a bunch of new games there, that would be COOOOOLL. I know there are already some games in there but there should be a lot more. HOME is still far away from what I guess Sony had initially thought of. Hopefully, with time, they'll deliver their targets.

M loving Home myself.
I don't have ta say that Home has come a long way since (closed beta)..since everybody seems to agree that much.

Hey, to the author ov this article..u can UPLOAD YOUR OWN PICS. Ov course you would have ta purchase tha picture frames 1st. From that point ya go ta ya apt., place tha picture frame where u want it, click tha frame, n select MY MEDIA...n there u have it. Juss thought I'd clear that up.

M sure Sony has alot they're working on for Home..I expect more ta come sooner rather than later...considering PS3's r selling more, and it's That Time ov Year.

We all juss have ta keep our eyes open.

Home is good but there's still a long way to go, I hate having to wait for a lane in bowling to open up but Sony have come a long way with it in such a short time and the future for Home looks very bright.

home = creepy

every time ive tried logging into home... seems like theres always one girl in the room and 50 guys in a huge crowd around her trying to hit on her. creeps me out that there are people out there are so desperate that they have to hit on girl avatars in a digital world....

on a second note...my wife used to play call of duty:world at war...and her screen name is sarah...something..i wont give out the whole thing. but shed even have guys add her randomly and try to hit on her...she doesnt even use a mic? creeeeepppyyy

So, I Finally Played Home

I recently published an article about beating my Steam backlog by getting organised and the first game I’ve completed with this new approach is Home.

I chose Home not because of its production values or reviews, but because, well, it’s short. I needed a game to start my new approach on the right foot and read that Home takes less than two hours to beat.

Whatever my reasons for finally installing Home, I found it to be an enjoyable yet flawed title.
