Resume Play's Stephen Rosenberg writes "In longing for a truly amazing game to dive into on my Nintendo DS since Phantom Hourglass, I was on my tip-toes in anxiety after seeing this unveiled at E3. The entire concept of creating your own way through a game by conjuring up whatever your little heart desires had me wide-eyed and bushy tailed. To me, this was a breakthrough in gaming. I always knew that Nintendo was going to throw out the amazing Mario and Zelda titles, but I've been waiting for a new face on the Nintendo sidelines in American gaming. Earlier in the year, I thought that face was going to be Starfy, but after the disappointingly easy and repetitive game-play, I decided that maybe 5th Cell and Warner Bros. could add that new face. Maxwell the Scribblenaut has almost met every expectation I had for him. But the key-word is almost."

Scribblenauts has long been a series lauded for its wealth of adjectives and nouns. Sometimes, it's astounding to discover exactly how far this can go, and that's why we have gone to the trouble of scouring for the most obscure and curious words that somehow yield results.
Matt from FuzzyPixels presents a list of the top five puzzle games of all time, as well as handing out a couple of special awards.

Having recently found out about Scribblenauts, the fate of 5th Cell is hard to witness.
the problem of scribblenauts is that it just couldn't work on Playstation/Xbox... Nintendo, PC and Mobile was not enough to support the franchise
Been meaning to try this game, alas i have not yet, may just have to pick it up.
This game seems pretty interesting. I will def be picking it up to give it a whirl. Sucks that the controls were poop though
yeah I agree, the game seems fun, but I hate controlling things with the stylus... the D-pad is available people.
I picked this up and loved it! I agree about the controls though. D-Pad anyone?
Great review, gonna definitely check this game out. That little bastard Maxwell is cute.
