Edge: The public gets what the public wants – or should that be the other way around? It's hard to tell with disposable multiplayer modes. Every now and then you'll read of questionnaires sent to someone or other, asking whether last year's solo sleeper should be next year's multiplayer hit. Then you end up with zero-G deathmatch in Dead Space 2 (the latest rumour), and no one knows quite who to blame.
So who do we blame for the eight maps, three modes and three classes that constitute multiplayer in Wolfenstein? UK based developer Endrant Studios? Good luck: many of its staff have just been made redundant (and there were only 17 to begin with); a disposable team, you might say, for an eminently disposable game. Activision, then, which isn't exactly a stranger to these woods? Or do we, as usual, blame ourselves? Sadly, for the vast majority of modern online modes, the bottom line is this: someone keeps asking, someone keeps listening, and no one keeps playing.
The great thing about being one of the most popular consoles of all-time is that there’s always more underappreciated bangers to spotlight.
Definitely a good game and loved the art style. My daughter watched me play it when she was 4 years old. I’ll have to replay it with her someday now that she’s older. It’s crazy it’s been around 11 years.
I was thinking of pulling out my PS3 super slim this winter to replay Rain, and try to tackle some of the backlog I acquired.
I love Enslaved such a sleeper hit, Asuras Wrath a very good game I still own, and I wish EA would put out a new Dante's Inferno another game I enjoyed. I never heard of the Rain game I might have to try it out might give Ebay a snoop or two.

Sometimes, you want a relatable villain who makes you question your own morality. Other times, you want Frau Engel.
It got old tbh. Machine needed a break from the IP. Indie is a good reprieve.

I really wish they'd remake Return to Castle Wolfenstein from the ground up. Easily the best of them all.
