Unfortunately, these attitudes don't just stem from competition, but Sony's failure to recognize evolving demands in the hand-held market.

...portable gaming console however, all it needs is games, games and more games. Sony should forget about "minis" in terms of games and just focus on releasing the back catalog of PS1 games at a "mini" price.
"Apps" is what's needed to ensure the PSP offers best possible video and audio playback.
Finally, release more AAA games that exploit the PSP and not make people moan about it only having one analog.
