I am kicking things off by going back to a familiar well here - with a song from the Neverwinter Nights soundtrack. This is still arguably one of my favorite music scores in a video game ever, but I decided to lead off with it and then create something of a theme as I decided to pull all of this edition's songs from RPG games.
Neverwinter Nights (PC) - Battle - Forest Boss
I touched on the somewhat mystical quality of another Neverwinter Nights song last week when discussing City Docks Day. There were a lot of really good battle tunes in this one, but the Forest Boss song always stood out in my mind. The battle itself was not even the most memorable one, but right around the one minute mark, it reaches an epic level that just stuck with me.

B-But FFXII isn't last-gen. I'd love to see it remastered regardless though. Brilliantly fun game, I just disliked the story unfortunately.
I really would like to see a HD Remaster of both Twilight Princess & Skyward Sword. Those games deserve to be in HD
Are you saying that they could make Ni no Kuni look even better, because I would like to see that.
I was so thrilled about this game, when I bought my ps3 2 years ago. Now its been eclipsed by Dragonage: Origins, Demon's Souls, and FFXIII. They squandered this titles hype, IMO. I will rent it for sure.
Enough said.
Like Jinn's special outfit in this game

SICK!!
I agree with you. WKC was one of my most anticipated games for PS3 when it was first announced, but I've slowly been losing interest.
And to top it off, Level 5 give the game a launch Window of Spring 2010...
...the same time as FFXIII. I mean, really? Don't get me wrong, I will still get this game, but if the release is too close to FFXIII then I'm afraid it's going to have to wait.
I know, right? I can see this game flopping in the UK and US if it releases close to FFXIII because A) The FF series is a powerful franchise, almost everyone knows what it is, even non-gamers and B) WKC is a new IP. Only users like ourselves who check the internet regularly will know anything about it.
worst part of e3 was learning this game had been killed for the west, if it hits early jan i can see it having an impact but release it within 2 months of FF and its dead in the water. I will still buy it tho but gutted.
