Tiny game sizes. 10 player or 16 player games instead of 40, 64, or 256 player Holy Grail of online shooters, MAG?

Instead of the amazing Home online world with its over 8 million users and massive support of all the major publishers and developers, some dopey Nintendo Mii ripoff?

Ken Kutagri nailed it almost perfectly with the PS3. The man is the god of console hardware design:

* Insane graphical power

* Amazing reliability

* Silent operation

* Easy and cheap harddrive upgrades

* Internal powersupply

* USB connections for standard keyboard hookup

* Blu-Ray 25 or 50 gig storage format

* Bluetooth

* Slot loading drive

The only thing I could possibly think of the PS3 needs are:

* A couple USB ports on the back

* Flat top like the PS2 so you can set controllers and game on it

The gap between the PS3's graphics and the 360's is so enormous now in 2009 that top ten lists have been putting a token multiplatform games on the list out of pity for 360 owners.

This is the first console gen where a console has to totally annihilated its competition graphically as the PS3 has the 360.

Games with graphics that were claimed 'impossible CGI level' like Killzone 2.

GT 5 running a much more advanced lighting and rendering engine at DOUBLE the resolution of the 360's big racing game.

We now effectively have three graphical generations at the same time with the gap between the Wii and the 360 being roughly as big as the gap from 360 graphics to the PS3's.

Killzone has a mediocre campaign and terribly unbalanced multiplayer. How is it good? ITS NOT

I enjoyed Uncharted, but there is no replay value. It not worth buying if you only complete it once.

MAG is crap

Gran Turismo hasn't been an AAA title since 2001, so no, it's not good

Heavy rain? It's not out yet and I highly doubt the little gameplay that it has will be good.

The MAG beta is out i have played it. It's hardly what I would call good.

How can you say MAG is crap - it's not even out yet, or complete so leave that until the final product is released.

If Killzone had a mediocre campaign, then 75% of other games' campaigns must be horrid. The multiplayer is right up there with Halo, IMO. I'm not a multiplayer gamer though, and that is fully your opinion so I can't comment on this too much.

And 2nd, Gran Turismo hasn't been a AAA title since 2001 because there's only been 1 full release... That managed to get an '89' on metacritic? One single point away from being "AAA" is close enough in my books. You missed out on one of the BEST racing sims on the PS2. By the way, it is good... very very good indeed.

Halo 3 has generic muliplayer? you do know that halo 2 pretty much created the platform of which all other console fps multiplayer games try and live up to? it's far from generic, it is original, fun and addictive....more than I can say for any ps3 exclusive i've played.

Gears has no replay value? heard of achievements? you know, the thing sony copied and called trophies. Both titles have indepth multiplayer modes plus co-op. If you call that no replay value, then you must not play any ps3 games....

Forza has been an AAA title since it was released. Meta critic average is above 90 for both titles, more than i can say for GT's latest outings. Forza is currently the best racing franchise on the market. Do you even know what an AAA quality game is?

When i played uncharted there was no trophies. hahahaha sony hadnt copied achievements at that stage. I can only speak from experience, and from my experience, it had no replay value.

Valkyria Chronicles is beyond great,

God of War 3 will be good but I don't care for hack n slash games.
Killzone 2 is very good and I don't even like multiplayer much in general.
Demon's Souls is apparently very good.

I'm sure there's more but that's all I can think of.

You must have some crappy internet, cause Ive got a 5mb connection and have no trouble playing LBP or any other game on PSN. When I torrent things then I get some lag but only then do I get any hint of this "lag" that you claim makes games unplayable. Go troll the open area, its been proven that the PSN is more reliable then Live

Nope, my internet connection is pretty amazing (FIOS) Got my PS3 and 360 hooked up to the same connection, Live is significantly in both matchmaking and performs better during online play. Anyone who says that "PSN is more reliable then Live" is full of sh!t - take your BS trolling to the Open Zone please.

Go visit the LittleBigPlanet forums sometime, there are *hundreds* of posts there asking Media Molecule to fix the horrible lag problems, so don't tell me that it's playable online - it's not.
