Marts been Quiet since the True HD sound thing was proved wrong after he made such a song and dance about it, and I haven't heard from CyberLemming for a while. (Maybe he followed a Buddy off a cliff, Oh sweet Irony.) Things are looking good. Now if we can just get Bill Gates (not the real one) to bite his lip a bit we can have some nice balanced conversations in here. :)

The sad thing about all the arguing in forums is, we all have similar interest. The anonimity of the internet seems to make some people into jerks, yet if we all met in real life we'd probably all be friends.

i have to disagree with your statement about how the game has nothing on DOA4. Having played both, i would have to say that the visuals in VF5 are better, the fighting system deeper, and while lacking an online mode, is still a blast to play with a friend.

If you're a fighting game purist, then the 20 frame window for you to counter in DOA is more of a detriment then a blessing. On the other hand, VF5 requires millisecond reactions in order to counter. this kind of reaction is not possible with a cable modem that we're familiar with.

i've long thought that DOA2:H was the best game in the series, as its fun for mindless bashing and good times with friends. the series took a big step forward with DOA4 by trying to make it more appealing to fighting game purists, but for the deepest and purist fighting experience, VF4 Evo (and now VF5) are the best

The reason why sometimes I get defensive is when I see people flaming the 360... but I honesly don't hate Sony nor the PS3... I am planning to buy myself one... I would say things about the PS3 just because I knew it bothers them. To be honest with you.. I think both consoles have and will have games that it's not worth locking yourself to one console. At the end of the day is all about the games. The console is just a tool. So, now.. when Some Xbox 360 hater says something... I try to ignore... That way I don't pissup people that arent fanboys but that like the PS3 in the process; though my intentions arent those.

I pay for both and Game Pass Ultimate, and get the best of both worlds.
