Anoop Gantayat: Grandia, Lunar, and (partially at least) Smash Bros. Brawl developer GameArts has been teasing us with nothing more than a title for its first WiiWare game for some time now. But no one really knew just what Kage no Shonen to Hikari no Yosei (roughly, Boy of Shadow, Fairy of Light) was all about.

LiveWii writes : "Game Arts, the developer of Lunar, Grandia and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, has released the official website of Shadow Walker's US version. On this occasion, the title will be renamed in The Magic Obelisk. The game is always TBA."

This game kind of came out of nowhere, but there does seem to be few WiiWare games concerning shadows on the horizon: Nicalis' Night Game and Hudson's Tower of Shadow being the ones that spring immediately to mind.
Shadow Walker's story isn't completely clear seeing as it's relayed storybook-style with a lot of Japanese text. There's a boy with yellow hair called Rukusu and a funny-looking butterfly-like companion called Popo who are travelling through their world encountering various animals and baddies.

LiveWii writes: "Closer from the atmosphere of a LostWinds compared to a Castlevania: The Adventure Rebirth, Shadow Walker is available since yesterday on Japanese WiiWare. Game Arts, the developer, has just released a new trailer of three minutes with gameplay and cinematics phases. Hoping that the game will be released as soon as possible in West."
