Duke Nukem got released on XBLA this generation, he should be there!

Go Gaming Giant6104d ago

lol true, but we only looked at games that came out this generation, things like Duke Nukem don't count

Good list, but seriously, you should'a checked some of Visari's quotes, he was the only reason why I got to the end of Killzone just to hear his words.

Hell everything in the Killzone universe is quotable, except for Rico, that prick needs to quote a bullet to his face.

Halo 3 had some great ones.

"Wake me, when you need me."

Or,

"You are ALL of you vermin! Cowering in the dirt thinking, what? I wonder? That you might escape the coming fire? No! Your world will burn until its surface is but glass! And not even your Demon will live to creep, blackened from its hole to mar in the reflection of our passage...the culmination of our Journey. For your destruction is the will of the Gods! And I? I AM their instrument!"

Or,

"With my gentle encouragement, our Lords' holy relic springs to life. It is...unfortunate that our enemies also bear witness to its glory, but soon their dull eyes will be closed; seared by the Rings unforgiving light."

Very epic stuff. Terrance Stamp does some amazing voice work.

First one came to my mind when I clicked on this was "welcome to america" ahah that stuck in my head for many months. I loved that :) . But yeah there was a lot of good ones and Killzone should have had on in there. But i also think the new batman has some great ones :) "Played you like a violin and cut your strings" haha I love it :)

"Don’t ever wrestle with a pig. You’ll both get dirty, but the pig will enjoy it."

I still don't understand that MGS4 quote :(

Batzi6104d ago

basically it is saying that whoever controls wars controls history thus war becomes routine since the same faction is controlling it and the outcome will definitely be the same in favor of the powerful in our world the USA and in MGS world, well the USA again(The Patriots) :P
The first part about nanomachines describes how The Patriots manages their own army and weapons and have control of the battlefield by controlling their men via technology and science. Hope you get it.

umair_s516104d ago

Thanks for the input man! Bubbles for you

Sarcasm6104d ago (Edited 6104d ago )

lol that's hilarious. MGS4 gets quoted a paragraph, while the other games gets a sentence.

Surely they could have just picked one part of it.

And I especially like how quote 1 is "War never changes"

then quote 5 is "War has changed"

Go Gaming Giant6104d ago

ye we could have but we didn't want to break up the quote, it was such a great quote

Sarcasm6104d ago

Oh I agree, it's a good quote. I just have a stupid sense of humor. Don't mind me.

jmare6104d ago

The problem with 1 is that it is essentially just paraphrasing Fallout. "War never changes" is a direct quote from Fallout.

Kamikaze86104d ago

I personally like the Bioshock one. Never saw that coming.
