I have been playing the 360 demo till my copy arrives. I also played my friends ps3 version with the joker. while it is nice and free...it isnt a big selling point to me.

The game is great and deserves #1.

Why do VGChartz stories keep getting approved? Seriously?

Despite the fact that I bought the PS3 version for Joker and I'm loving it :P, I don't give a rat's @SS which version is at 1 and which is at 2 all I know is I want themto be at the first two and I want them to sell really well, Rocksteady made an excellent game(one of the best this GEN) and I don't want Eidos(bribing Fvckers) or Fanboys to give this game a bad name(cause of the DLC)

Seriously, you guys need to do some research before posting this stuff. VGChartz numbers have been pretty much spot on with NPD for the last 6 months now - why don't you actually look the figures up and see?

Let's do it for you, this is a comparison between the VGChartz NPD previews (posted BEFORE NPD data comes out) and the NPD data itself:

Yeah I see what you mean - no correlation between the two at all. In fact apart from the 50,000 difference on Wii (and many in the industry believe that NPD undertracked Wii for July) the numbers correlate perfectly.

Seriously, this misconception that VGChartz is "fake" (spread by NPD and their closest allies) has to stop. They provide solid industry estimates for free that nearly always line up well with official data that is released. They use statistical samples from retailers and consumers and extrapolate to represent the entire market - same as NPD do but on a smaller scale. So they are not *as* accurate as NPD but they are still accurate.

@above - Do you work for VGChartz or something? Lol, I think you care too much.

Also VGChartz guesstimates worldwide not only North America. And it's almost always wrong.

VGChartz sucks. Simple as that.

I'm going to have to agree with bmw69... vgcharts has been within a few percent of npd, mediacreate and charttrack for a while now and earlier in the year when both ms and sony announced their ytd sales vgcharts was no more than a couple hundred thousand off which is actually quite excellent considering their smaller sample sizes. Don't forget that npd, mediacreate and charttrack are statistical estimates aswell just with larger sample sizes.

He pretty much spoon feeds you guys the info, showing that vg chartz have been fairly accurate for some time now and all you can do to dispute it is say it sucks. No links, no sources, in other words just I don't like vg chartz so they suck....that's the typical 5 yr old mentatility that make n4g laughable. Do you know how dumb that sounds? I mean I can understand saying vg chartz is off sometimes, they must be doing something right to improve their methods, I remember along while back seeing some waaaay off estimates but he's right they've been pretty damm close for awhile, you just don't want to see it.

Whether you like them or not, you have to admit VGChartz's numbers are very close to the NPD numbers. He showed you proof. Every time a website writes an anti-PS3 article or the sales figure aren't favoring your console, they're automatically biased. Such a shame indeed.

Goes to show you even the most insignificant DLC will turn the tides. But I digress, good numbers for a great game deserving of #1.

@1.10 and 1.12 - You guys care too much. VGChartz has been proven to be VERY VERY wrong in the past, just because their numbers align sometimes doesn't mean they are reliable. NPD, GFK/Chart Track and Media Create are legitimate sales trackers. VGChartz is not, shows your level of intelligence that you actually trust this source that has been wrong EVERY time for the last 3 years.

EDIT: This has nothing to do with the numbers not being aligned to my particular console or anything. I own all current gen consoles, so I don't really care about whether one platform sells more than another (unlike fanboys like JOY). I just know that VGC is unreliable, as do most other N4G users.

We all know they're fake numbers and your 3 accounts agreeing with yourself doesn't change it! We all know they fix the numbers after NPD is released, so your aligning numbers mean nothing!

Why was this band from this site and so many others for so long if it wasn't fake? You know the junk that this site tolerates? VGChartz has been deemed the junk of all junk; Junk actually looks down on VGChartz!

Everyone with sense, please report this as fake! If you wish to use this as a forum to talk about Batman, continue, but please don't refer to the sales!

Vgchartz goes back and changes their fake numbers after the real numbers are released by NPD.

The site is a sickening farce. Gaming doesn't need some guy pretending to do retail tracking making up sales numbers.

There is already enough garbage filling the gaming news.
