I'd give you a cookie for trying, but that is such a complete waste of food.

Mr Bean Laden6103d ago

shows how you didn't even read the article

I expected Halo 3 to fill all the positions :P

RedPawn6103d ago (Edited 6103d ago )

Mobile Suit Gundam PS3
Lair PS3
Haze PS3
Bullet Witch 360
Bomberman Act Zero 360
Two Worlds 360
99 Nights 360
Burger King Games 360
The Wii has so much shovelware, followed by the 360, and the PS3 has its stinkers too though.

Elven66103d ago

The Burger King games weren't that bad especially considering how they came with your meal!

mrjudd6103d ago

mercenaries 2 was shlt too

andron6103d ago (Edited 6103d ago )

It wasn't as bad as those other games you listed anyway. It was a bit underwhelming, but an ok rental...

Edit: Yeah, Legendary and Turning Point: Fall of Liberty should be mentioned. Maybe Area 51: Blacksite too, and definitely Hour of Victory. There has been a lot of useless FPSs...

And Vampire Rain is the winner every time...

You didn't play Lair, did you?

It was actually semi-enjoyable.

Why is Legendary not on here?

stevenhiggster6103d ago

What part of "last 12 months" did you guys miss.
Sure all the games you list were poo but most of them weren't released in the last 12 months.

Oh Lair! Why didn't they just use TWO full sets of controls? Two or more options would have turned the hapless sixaxis controlled monstrosity into a really good game. As it was I still found it OK with some special moments but with full "normal" controls implemented with, maybe, the mtion suff just used for the occasional passage(so it was almost like a mini game within the game a la HS's Twing Twang)it could've been the game we all hoped for.

Haze was killed by more than bad develoment and design choices though-I'd love to know how all the troubles with the pulled middleware and everything started. It speaks volumes that many people who played a buils of the game a year vefore release felt it ran and played better and had they been able to keep everything maybe they'd have had time for a better script and acting! Really, there's a great shooter in there somewherebut circumstances really did turn on FRD to make their job that bit too hard.

Personally the most broken(and therefore worst to me) game this gen was Blacksite-levels and character animations were either plainly unfinished or just useless-and it was another game where the premise should have delivered a vetter game mich like most games that diappointed me recently.

The true rubbish isn't half as bad as you rarely got duped into buying them in the first place but games like Blacksite and Kane and Lynch which had decent ideas and early hupe are thereal dangers of current gen gaming-the kind of games where you had to keep up with the previews to know what really was going on as if you'd read just an early, promising preview you could easily have been trapped. However, even without any of that I still managed to feel conned even just renting Turning Point:FoL(though it did mean I was wise to how poor Legendary was going to be)!

Like you never expected those BK games to work properly, did you? Oh, special mention for that totally pointless paintballing FPS game-why? Just why make that? Ever? Then there was Red Steel, obviously.

I actually truly enjoyed Lair. The controls were a beast to master but I played the game through and had a great time....then they patched the controls too late for people that were inept at mastering the old control scheme to give a crap. Those that couldn't get it evidently still don't. Game was highly underrated.

Vampire rain and that crappy bomberman game were horrifyingly bad.

gmrfm6103d ago

I have to say Hour of Victory on the 360 is by far the worst game I've ever tried to play. That game was just broken in every way.
