BeefJack: Shadow Complex Review

BeefJack writes: "It's impossible to avoid the comparisons, so I'm not going to try. Shadow Complex takes the formula that was previously best implemented by both the Metroid and Castlevania series and accomplishes two things: it frees the genre from the handheld prison it has been in for the last few years - without moving (fully) to 3D - and it brings the style into the next generation instead of offering a simple throwback. Sure, the Metroid Primes maintained the spirit of their predecessors, but there is something about the simplicity of the formula that it seems is best distilled in two dimensions."

Pretty Cool XBLA title, kinda of short for the price of 15 bucks...but great production.

But for money I'd rather get 15 bucks = Wipeout HD vs. Shadow Complex, both good games though.

Quite a big sale but not entirely convinced all are decent deals. Glad to see the 360 gets a few more offers this week. I wish Screamride was on sale by itself!

Gears Ultimate Day 1 Edition? I can understand picking up day 1 physical editions at later dates, that were stuck in the retail channel for whatever reason. Late "day 1" digital sales make no sense at all though.

State of Decay on Xbone is great.

OldGuyStillGaming3658d ago

This is the 5th or 6th time they've had Battlefront on "sale" in the last few months
Still overpriced imo
