Batman arkham sylum could had been a masterpice to bad it had to be realesed on the ps3 and watered down because off the ps3 lack off memory

These differences are so meaningless. They are both high quality HD games. Its not like one is going to look like a Wii game. As long as both run good, then either one is a good choice. Of course then you have the Joker content to sway your decision ;)

Both videos look identical practically, it comes to something when everyone is getting their magnifying glass out to try to spot differences.

If you have a console you should be happy with what version you have not worried about whether it has one pixel out of place compared to the other version.

The only thing i saw was the lines on the old guys pin-stripe suit were clearer on ps3. Other than that i thought they looked the same.

was the wardens face looks better on the PS3 version. Otherwise there even. Except no joker on the 360 version.

Xbox360 version yet again out shines ps3. Therefore Final Fantasy XIII on Xbox360 will also out shine ps3 in Graphics when it comes out and thats a Fact.

I played the demo on both and couldnt find much difference. I will say that I just made my choice as to which one i would be getting. I am taking advantage of the offer from toys r us. By AA get lego batman free.

I ordered me up the 360 version. Unfortunately their system wouldnt let me split the deal (ps3/360 combo). My reasoning for getting the 360 was simple. I have 2 360 and only 1 ps3. Had I gotten the ps3 version I would had to split my play time between myself and my kids. Since I had 2 360 I can play AA on one and my kids can play lego on the other.

If I had 2 ps3's and 1 360 then the choice would have been the other way around. Great game no matter what.

Difference is minimal and at times I thought they looked 100% identical.

I played the back to back on both systems and I say there is really no difference at all and this video just verifies what I already know.

I still think the exclusive DLC is total bullsh*t but both companies do it so what can you do.. It still wasn't enough to change my mind about getting the 360 version.

I'm kind of surprised that the PC version looks quite a bit better than the PS3 version, I mean the PS3 version already looks amazing in the first place.

That said... I'm buying the PC version to play through and a used copy of the PS3 version for the Challenge rooms.

this is a game where there is no difference unless you put it side by side. and still i had trouble telling a difference... Come on people. . Even though so many people think that when one console game looks better on one than the other, they like to think it's the consoles problem.. lol its the dev any way.. but these dev. know how to do it right :)

PS3 wins not only because it's better in both quality and frame rate, but because you can play exclusively as Joker.

First they think the 360 version looks better and then they get proven wrong so now they settle for thinking that both versions look the same. lol

Oh boy....can't we just enjoy the game? It's great on both systems. We need to put an end to all of these comparisons.

it just shows that multiplats can look great on both systems as long as the developer is willing to put the time in to making both look great, shame on bethesda for not doing that with fallout 3, they could have made so much more money if they would have catered to both consoles more and not been xbox biased, Bethesda take a lesson from the developers of Batman please. I'm just glad that both sides (xbox and ps3 fans) both have a great game on either console.

picked this up for ps3 earlier, started playin it bout 4 hours ago n cant put it down, its got such good atmosphere, story and production values! aint checked out the joker tings yet but iv installed them ready, jus thought id come see what the rest of the n4g community thought of the game...good to see its identical on both systems for a change, means that all the flamebaiters aint got sh1t 2 argue about for once, nice work rocksteady! reap the benefits of making a real hit!

they both look similar to me, plus that little tiny pixel of difference that might be there would hardly classify as something of a reason that one is superior over the other when the overall game is actually quite fun on both platforms.

ps3 batman version = world class chocolate

One thing only: game will look as good as programers make it to look. PS3 may be stronger hardware, but if they dont use it 100% it doesnt show. And i really dont care for thosew comparisions, i will play the game on my console, not my friends console.

people keep doing this comparison crap with huge games that comes out??!! we all know the playstation has way better shading, coloring, and shadows. clearly all these comparison videos show it. they need to stop with comparisons already!

I have both versions, they are pretty much identical until a cutscene occurs, this is where they differ, the PS3 versions shows better shadows on the faces of the characters and the 360 version shows some shadow flickering at some cutscenes. But both versions looks exactly the same everywhere else. To owners of both consoles, I'd suggest you getting the game on your main console but if you want the most out of Batman, buy the PS3 version since it has Joker DLC.

First of all, I'd like to thank a lot of the fanboys here at n4g.com (both Xbox and PS3) for helping me realize how foolish it is to be involved in gaming for any other reason than to simply enjoy the experience. It took me a while, but I soon discovered that I was wasting more time concerning myself over irrelevant gaming topics (eg side-by-side comparisons) at this site than actually playing the games!

That's just pathetic. Unfortunately, it was around this same time that I discovered how games have suddenly turned stale for me. They just don't do it for me anymore.

So, I took those roughly $500.00/ month of funds that I'd typically spend on games/ gaming consoles/ gaming peripherals (etc.), along with a little extra savings, and started researching for a good company to invest that money into.

I am sooooo giddy right now... :)

Anyway, I determined after about 2 weeks of research that a company by the name of SpongeTech was worth the risk. They were trading at about $0.08/ share when I made the decision.

Long story short, tax time could suck, but dayum, am I glad that I didn't spend that money on games :)

Funny thing is, I am tempted to get back into gaming. Although I can now afford to own everything the PC and gaming industry has to offer with a ton of money to spare, I simply can't rationalize withdrawing my profits from this gold-mine.

I'm loving my life right now, and it's insane to think that it's mostly because of those terrible months that I spent wasting my time on this site. So, thanks again ;)

Maybe I'll allow myself to get back into gaming once I become a millionaire within a year from now... then again, maybe not ;)
