I can vouch that this is an awesome game. Been playing it for years. And if your lucky and smart, you can make a profit of real life money from this game.

cameljock6107d ago

How would that be possible?

Kakkoii6107d ago

It's possible because this MMO has a real world cash economy. The in game currency called PED, is 10 PED = 1 USD. The game allows you to withdraw and deposit the money whenever you want. So if you earn PED in the game, you can withdraw it back out for cash in real life lol.

sweet, cryengine is a much more versatile engine than unreal engine so i definitely wouldn't mind seeing this used more in games

aions the only game im lookin forward too and it uses cryengine :)

Kakkoii6107d ago

LOL.

Aion only uses the first CryEngine. The game in this story is using the CryEngine2. Which is ages ahead. It's the same thing Crysis uses.

wonder why it doesn't look so good.

Kakkoii6106d ago

It does look good, you have to play the game on decent settings for yourself to see. Or your looking at the previous version screenshots that are still on the site.

Plus MindArk has a lot smaller development team than Crytek had.

Virtual Resort sold for $635,000

A player of Planet Calypso has just managed to sell his virtual resort for $635,000. That is disgusting….

Planet Calypso is the oldest planet in Entropia Universe the game where you actually use real money to buy items and services. Today someone definitely proved that, by selling the largest Asteroid Space Resort property, largely known for housing Club NeverDie. It has been broken up into smaller portions and sold off to new investors.

How do people make that kind of money with it?

Projekt7tuning5665d ago

Should I help the starving kids in Africa, or buy this Virtual property for nearly 1 million dollars that helps no one?
Yea I'm going property!

At times I wish people's IQ would be close to the amount of excess money they have.
That way the cast of Jersey Shore couldn't do any damage.

EddyD5666d ago

I guess you start off with $100,000, buy something with it and wait...

Lovable5665d ago
