Nation of Gamers takes a look at how it may benefit Microsoft and perhaps MLG if Microsoft was to aquire the professional gaming league. Some of the main points the article offers are that:
1) MLG content on XBox Live Marketplace.
2) Software promotion through MLG.
3) The real gaming expertise and credibility MLG brings to the table.

Remakes of the campaigns featured in Xbox Game Studios' Halo 2 and Halo 3 are currently in development, according to a new rumor.
That's Microsoft's gaming division for you...kill off developers making new ip while trying to capitalize off some long lost glory that has no hope of ever being what it once was thanks to recent decision making favoring unrealistic profit goals and greed. What a joke.
So what’s their solution to having multiplayer? Wait until Halo 7?
That was one of the most memorable parts of Halo..
Why not just port the MCC? 🤔 That was the easiest layup ever and you completely missed it
I wonder if Microsoft will port Reach over to Playstation I quite enjoyed that game. I played Halo 3 and it was not bad I have Halo 2 on the OG Xbox I just need some cables to hook up to my tv to play it.

Eight seminal games were released on the gaming market between October 26 and November 23, 2004. Twenty years later, here's Wccftech's retrospective.
You're not gonna include Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal or Jak 3 on that list? Just change it to Fall 2004 Releases and include the masterpiece that is Sly 2.

Unexpected characters, infamous cliffhangers, and an E3 demo that time forgot.
My favourite of the series... I have only played 3 though
Never a big fan of the original but number two blew me away with it's scale, the bit at the beginning when you're driving a tank across this giant bridge whilst shooting down flying enemies lives in my head. Always rocked the double needler
as much as I liked it, it was one of the first game endings where I went "you gotta be f'ing kidding me!"
I still remember the gameplay reveal during E3 2003.. Man, the graphics was like a major upgrade from Halo 1 and it blew everybody's mind. It looked miles ahead of anything on PlayStation 2 and the score was epic! When it launched, Halo 2 was worthy of every bit of hype it generated.
This in my opinion is one of the best Halo games (Alongside 1 and Reach). It introduced the prophets, you could play an elite which was awesome, dual handling SMG, amazing graphics for its time on original Xbox and so many more.
The city levels had flat textures and streaming issues but the assault on the Temple with the ODST team was an unforgettable experience. I still remember how detailed the buildings covered with moss and grass were like and the water element in the temples was perfectly utilized.
Replayed this gem on MCC and had a blast.
this would be very nice
I don't know if it's about PC gaming only, or if it also involves consoles. But without PS3,PS2, GC, Wii, DS, PSP tournaments, there's not much reason to simply watch "Xbox 360" or "PC" tournaments if it is called "MLG". Shouldn't it be called "MLX360" then?
I'm against this. All professional gaming should involve all consoles, and focus on gaming, regardless of the platform.
mlg is awesome
Amusing. Clan ladders were fun when site creators actually cared about the community rather than making their monthly banner click quota.
Yes There really is no point in acquiring MLG....All it really is is Halo2.. It's starting to get more games involved but their really is no point... Mlg content on Marketplace...?? Right .. Ok that right there means they no nothing about MLG... Software sales thru MLG.. Right .. If that happens I would think MLG sold out and I would go to another league.. Their is no point in this acquisition.. Just let them be doing what their doing right now.. But it really is just about Halo2 ..
