It's easy to see that Wolfenstein was designed primarily for its single-player story for therein lies its most appealing features and gameplay design. The multiplayer is functional but doesn't break any new ground and was probably tacked on to keep the RTCW fans from rioting. Face it – there are better online games out there but not many single-player, story-driven FPS titles come close to matching the classic FPS goodness of Wolfenstein.
The great thing about being one of the most popular consoles of all-time is that there’s always more underappreciated bangers to spotlight.
Definitely a good game and loved the art style. My daughter watched me play it when she was 4 years old. I’ll have to replay it with her someday now that she’s older. It’s crazy it’s been around 11 years.
I was thinking of pulling out my PS3 super slim this winter to replay Rain, and try to tackle some of the backlog I acquired.
I love Enslaved such a sleeper hit, Asuras Wrath a very good game I still own, and I wish EA would put out a new Dante's Inferno another game I enjoyed. I never heard of the Rain game I might have to try it out might give Ebay a snoop or two.

Sometimes, you want a relatable villain who makes you question your own morality. Other times, you want Frau Engel.
It got old tbh. Machine needed a break from the IP. Indie is a good reprieve.

I really wish they'd remake Return to Castle Wolfenstein from the ground up. Easily the best of them all.
I fail to see how four grades of 8 can equal to an overall grade of 8.7, but then again I'm not gamechroncles.com.
