New Mass Effect DLC Released

Up on the marketplace right now is the newest DLC for Mass Effect. Released just minutes ago it is called Pinnacle Station. It costs 400 points and lasts 2-3 hours. Again suprisingly Bioware haven't announced or spoken about this piece of DLC.

The reason you might of got disagrees is because you menchen the Playstation 3 in a Mass Effect DLC topic. The playstation has nothing to do with the topic what-so-ever but you bring it up. Some could see this as insighting a flame respons...

While Im here, The PC version of Mass Effect was recently patched. Can we now use a Xbox 360 controle pad on PC for this game?

Zedux: GFYS! I am playing the hell out of Splosion Man and Shadow Complex right now, both exclusive and now am about to fire up Batman: AA and now looks like I have another piece of gaming goodness in this DLC.

If anyone is going to be blamed and pointed out as trying to start a flamewar and being another POS fanboy it's this Zedux guy.

And 1.5 is spot on.. It's obvious a certain group on this site cannot control themselves and need some sort of parental supervision when commenting on this site. The closest thing here are the mod's and admins. I understand they have a tough job and it's almost full time to keep up with the amount of pure crap that comes through this place but it's time to start pointing the finger in the direction of the people who have the power to put an end to this crap once and for all. Not just for a week and then let it go back to cesspool levels.

I think so but not just for this dlc but mainly for the amazing saved game transfer to the 2nd mass effect where you can see your choices pane out into the second game :D

I like how you accuse Mass Effect of copying ODST when the game isn't out yet. By your definitions ODST copied Gears 2 as did L4D and COD5. And just for the record, while I love Gears 2 (especially Horde) it hard hardly pioneered the idea of surviving waves of enemies.

Personally I wish the DLC was more story focused rather than combat. Mass Effect is certainly an all time favorite but combat is hardly where the game shines (although I never found it bad). That said, $5 is a good price considering how much other, less substantial DLC, is selling for nowadays. I personally liked BDtS and will buy this to.

Totally agreed. I would of rather had some story type DLC then more combat focused but I am still getting it.

I think it would of been cool if they did some story bridging and maybe brought in some hints for Mass Effect 2. Some real creative things you could of done to tease fans for the sequel.

I am very upset, furious in fact, that Bioware quality control did not notice a rather major bug in this new DLC. Should you have the classics edition with the extra disc and have installed the Bringing Down the Sky content from the second disc, the new DLC will not work! It has already been highlighted on the Mass Effect forums and Bioware have posted a response saying they are looking into it, but I am not impressed in the slightest that I just handed over 400 points for something I cannot play until they get around to patching it.

You can delete the BDtS file from you hard disc as a quick fix, but then any save game that has already visited Astroid X57 will no longer work, so if you planning on marching your level 60 character in to Pinnacle Station as I was, you will not be able to.

Bioware better fix this quick. They have certainly just fallen off the pedestal I put them on post KOTOR.

Like with Fallout, it's starting to feel studios are using TV / Film adaptations when they have no game info to talk about.

I feel the same way.

I mean, how difficult would it be for them to release SOMETHING of substance? Another short trailer? A couple of proper hints? A short story set during the original trilogy, but focused on fringe characters?

Hopefully they're working so hard on the game that they don't have time. But still, with every passing year and so little to show, the franchise will be slipping further and further from people's minds.
