But in any case the game is looking even more beautiful with every passing Picture. One can say that this one actually is on par with all of the future PS3 heavy hitters, FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!

Characters were divided between tech, biotic, and soldier classes. I'd like to see more environmental stuff with their abilities though, like locking a room with tech powers and shorting the gas or power. Like making your own traps, that would be killer.

Hopefully they'll come up with more than just hacking and psychokinesis stuff, though those are awesome too.

EA is just waiting until late 2010 to release in on the PS3 with ME1 bundle on 1 blu-ray disc. EA knows that ME1 and ME2 will not stand a chance against FF13 on the PS3 this spring so the logical solution is to release it late 2010 when the MS time exclusive deal runs out as well lol!.

I don't think MS is gonna let Mass Effect slip away easily.

I played MassEffect on 360 first, i thought it was the best game of 2007. I was recently playing MassEffect on PC on max setting and i have to tell you, it looks great. The character models are just amazing. But everything else is almost a direct port and pretty comparable to the 360 version. I just wish they push the pc version a bit more this time around.

Am I the only one who was annoyed by the dialogue in ME 1? There were times that the dialogue was so bad it was just laughable. And the directing was pretty bad too. It was really cheesy in some parts. I'm not saying it was a bad game but it's flaws weren't only the framerate and stuff like that.

Oh and KOTOR was better.

Believe what you want to, but here's the facts.

PS3 has limits. First of all is the memory subsystem. It's screwed to the wall with only 256MB of XDR, and the GDDR3 is hardwire programmed to be exclusive to the RSX. Xbox 360 has 512MB of unified memory plus 10MB of dedicated memory to the Xenos GPU.

Secondly, it's stuck with a poor graphics processor. It doesn't have nearly the potential of the Xenos GPU.

RSX: 24 pixel plus 8 vertex shaders. dedicated shaders means that the pipelines that aren't being used will be wasted in scenes where they could have otherwise been better utilized by a unified shader architecture gpu.

Xenos: 3 16 pipeline shader arrays in a 48-way dual parallel shader core, plus Xenos's daughter die which comprises of a special "intelligent memory" eDRAM that contains 192 pixel processors plus logic for extremely high bandwidth needs, such as antialiasing and tile rendering. pipelines are not restricted to a single shader type. Xenos also was built according to future Direct X 10.1 specifications.

If a PS3 version of Mass Effect 1 is not out by now, you can just forget about waiting. ME2 is already far in development (The game should be done by now. Polishing is probaly where they are at right now). Once ME2 is done... BioWare should be hard at work on ME3. A PS3 version is very, VERY slim right now.

But... If you want to keep waiting, go ahead. We will be playing this game while you are still sitting in the past. Or.. as of right now, you can stop dreaming and start bashing the 360 because you are getting the "SUPERIOR" PC version... I dont care. Im getting this on my 360 because thats where all my saved files are. :P

Easily one of the best games this gen. Mass Effect 2 is my most anticipated title for 2010. Man 2010 is going to be busy busy busy with all the big AAA titles!!!

If Mass Effect 1 or 2 comes to the PS3 its unlikely to be ported/developed by Bioware (I assume a no name EA team would handle it) so all this speak about the hypothetical PS3 version being superior is kind of bulls***.

That was a nice debate but form my records APOC is more accurate with his spec inquieres the 360 does have the edge in the GPU department and its graphics capabilities havent been done justice , note the only two games that PS3 fans use most frequently in there arguments is UC and Killzone 2 . Though these are very good looking titles they dont represent the pinnacle of Consoles graphics neither does the PS3. The 360 and PS3 are basically identical in terms of overall performance so its getting very annoying to see the PS fans constantly pull those cards aside from those two games that just barley looks better then 360s best and we're not even talkin in all areas there is nothing i mean nothing that the PS3 does that the 360 cant .

Xbox 360 and ps3 owners will be very busy playing a lot of hot exclusives. May be 2010 will be the year that will equal or surpass 98 and 2007.
