Torrence Davis of The Bitbag writes, "On this episode we talk about the impact that the PS3 will make at $299. Will it change the industry? Will they pass Microsoft and Nintendo and become number 1? Who knows, we sure as hell don't, but there are plenty of opinions being tossed around this episode. Also on the show:
* Does anyone think Sony will come in first this gen? (Torrence)
* Miramasa is a must have Wii title (Torrence)
* Hiphopgamer won't review 360 games (Torrence)
* Console failure rates (Weapon X)
* APB may be coming to PS3 (Hiphopgamer)
* Just Dance coming for the Wii (Hiphopgamer)"

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.

LucasArts gave Jango Fett his own game in 2002, and it pulled Star Wars into a much dirtier, rougher, and more interesting corner of the galaxy.

The Wii is now a retro console. Let’s get nostalgic about an often maligned system.
Crazy to think the WII is to the Switch 2, as the NES was to the WII back then. 20 Year difference.
My wife asks me to bust it out (heh) everyone once in a while to play bowling and tennis with the kids. There was a ton of slop on it but some good stuff as well.
Wii was great but boy howdy did it cause Microsoft to go on a dark walk with the Kinect and the disastrous XBox One launch that they arguably never recovered from.
Not nostalgic for me.. I was there.. anyone who wasnt a little kid realized it was a gamecube with shit tacked onto it, it was the "joke" system and was well below even the switch in terms of comparing it to the latest machines at the time. The machine was well loved by young people and "casual gamers" who now remember it 20 years on, or in most cases more of its sales came in the 15-20 years ago range not right at launch- but again its not nostalgic for people who were "gamers" then really, just for those who ended up with one in their house, the games , graphics, interface and online features were archaic already in 2006.
Sony will not finish first this gen.Nintendo already sealed their victory and they have not had a price cut yet.The Wii is unstoppable.
As for 2nd place,it still a race that can shift one way or another.Of course it could end if either Microsoft or Sony announces their new console which I'm sure both will do in 2011
Torrence always talk about people hating, but he wont stop hating himself. Isn't he like 40 or something? That dude needs to grow the hell up.
Duh of course hiphopgamer aka ps3fanboy ain't going to review 360 games why review something you hate. I bet if Gears of War 3 comes to ps3 he reviews the hell out calling it the best game ever.
Yay
Are you talking about Muramasa: The Demon Blade as a must have Wii game? It looks great; if you loved Odin Sphere, you'll probably like Muramasa. The game has a fantastic art style.
Sony won't win first. Nintendo won it already - the gap is freaking huge.
