I find it funny that Microsoft are hyping up Natal so much yet Sony's motion controller is already more advanced and will come out earlier. Lol, Sony even made fun of people waving their arms around like idiots.

I thought sony had great announcements as I was waiting for the ps3 slim, and am excited for the microsoft announcements too. Too bad theres so many fanboys that cant just be gamers and have a personal vendeta against microsoft

I think that no matter the game that MS announces that will come in 2010 they do need to price drop the xbox360 to counter attack Sony's PS3 Slim.

Tomorrow will be a fun day, lets see if Microsoft will stay "quiet" or if they will be able to rumble the world with some thing so cool that will make ppl to forget that a Ps3 costs only $299 now.

Why are Sony fanboys so terrified and obsessed? It's absolutely bizarre. A pricecut announced and their still acting worried and scared!

It shows even the most delusional and extreme have come to grips with the situation at hand. PS3 isn't invincible, there are still moves to be made, and PS3 is millions in dead last. If it started winning tommorrow and DOUBLING 360's sales it couldn't catch up for half a decade, if not more!

Just like how Microsoft stole the show at E3 2009, same thing will apply at GameCom 2009.

The only thing I didn't like about the Sony Conference is the PSP Go's price, who the f**k would buy that junk at $249? I'd rather buy an Xbox 360 Arcade, an iPod Touch, a Wii, a blu-ray player. PSP Go = PHAIL.

with the sony deal I was bummed they did not include backwards capeability, I dont see me buying a slim do to the fact I allready own a ps3, there really is no sense in spending the money on it.

Fable 3 sounds truly sounds epic.

I like the Fable series of games. Always solid games to play, and certainly keep you going for a good while.

I disagree with those who say it wasn't expected or is a bombshell. Its big news to a certain degree, but i'm certainly not suprised there is a 3rd installment on the way.

Soo...Microsoft Press Conference was just Fable III Announcement. Not saying that isn't bad. Fable III sounds kickass.

Fable 3...Change the story like Heavy Rain...play with enviroment like Assassins Creed....has real actors like Uncharted. Whats new? Not to say combinging all of these wont be cool, but in the end of the day they only announced one game?

The Fable 2 thing im interested in. Will buying it separatle like that lead to companies like Activision ripping us off? You know "congrats on playing 10 minutes of Prototype, please pay 10 bucks for the next 10 minutes" You know Activision will do it.

That was terrible, i couldn't possibly care any less about Fable, why not just release Sims 3 on Xbox and be done with it, and as for all this touching and feeling rubbish!!!!!!!! oh my god why doesn't Molyneux become a councellor.

I thought Cologne was gonna be bigger than this...I was really getting the feeling that it was gonna bring back the glory days of E3, and while Sony announced the Slim, it was kinda like "meh saw it coming" (and kind of a letdown for people that already own a ps3/don't want to replace it). Now Microsoft shows up with a big chance to blow us away, starts to...and then ends, ABRUPTLY. Fable 3 is big(CUPPING BIG), but not big enough to take up an ENTIRE conference. Hopefully the rest of the show will turn out a lot better than this sham.

I'm guessing this was just the Lionhead portion of events? I was definitely expecting to hear more about 360 stuff in general. Maybe it will happen later on, but I'm off to bed for now...

It's probably because Microsoft doesn't give a rats ass about this conference. I just asked my friend, "Do you know what GamesCom is?" "...no?"

It's apparent that this conference is nothing to be "OMG" over.

I hate when people just list games for 2010 saying this is gonna be killer etc. I mean 2010 isnt here and when it does come all of the reviewers are going to talk about 3 main games. Halo, Mario, and FFXIII. Everything else is just filler.

I stayed up early (or late) to see what the M$ boys had in store. Well we got Petey Mol and Fable 3 presentation and a closed curtain.

After sleeping on it, it's safe to say that this was a brilliant call on Microsofts part. There was aboslutley no reason to counter what Sony did with the Slim announcement.

First, of all, this conference means little to the end game for any system. Sony needed the air time after have gained zero traction post E3. Microsoft can just cruise into the new year in style and play the wait and see game until the fourth quarter.

Amazon.com means nothing. The true test for Slim will be if it actually generates massiv sales beyond the 360. It's clear that those sales will not come from a mass exodus from the Xbox 360 community.

The new update changed Netflix into Multimedia heaven. Epic and Chair have blessed us today with Shadow Complex (which is a blast). All while leading us into the Megaton Halo: ODST launch.

So PS3 vs. 360 numbers will be interesting in September. I think October will be the biggest chance for Slim to make a differenced. But, if it doesnt, then Microsoft can launch Foza 3 to some good numbers and steal the press. November and December will see price cuts and big releases for the final push to the end of the year.

If Sony doesnt push ahead of Microsoft by January it just isnt going to happen. If the 360 has a year over year 4th quarter they will be knocking on a 40 Million install base. It will all be downhill strides for 2010 at that point, because 2010 is going to be an amazing year for gamers.

Devilwillcry - so you think "there was nothing really new in the sony conference: no new games"? There wasnt much in terms of new games but there was a huge new firmware shown off, and that little thing called the PS3 Slim XD Then more details on games like GT5 and Heavy Rain. So in fairness I think Sony showed off quite a bit XD

...The new 'Giant Enemy Crab attack for massive damage'. Amazed how that was worse than Nintendo's E3 '08 conference. Guess all cards were dealt E3.
