PGR2 Backwards compatability petition

From petitiononline.com:

"To: EVERYONE
This is a petition to ask Microsoft to make Project Gotham Racing 2 for Xbox compatible on Xbox 360.
There are many gamers out there that want this game backwards compatible on the 360 and since Microsoft have said 'They listen to what the gamers want' then this petition will hopefully voice it across to them.

Sincerely,"

Feel free to sign if you would like the possibility of PGR2 being included in a future BC update.

needs some Wonder Woman :P

I would prefer a "Starfield" one.

DefenderOfDoom24d ago (Edited 4d ago )

These are the same Bethesda tables from FX3 now upgraded for VR . I bought this Bethesda pack for Pinball FX3 around 5 years ago. But when the new Pinball FX came out a few years ago , they wanted me to buy the same tables again, which is ridiculous .

The Perfect Dark campaign for N64 is being rebuilt as a VR game

The nostalgia for 64-bit gaming has taken a significant technological leap with the arrival of Perfect Dark VR on Meta Quest. This isn't just a simple workaround to make the emulator look bigger; it's a standalone port that brings Joanna Dark's missions directly into your VR headset.

I’m super excited for this. I hope it can be finished at some point.

"I have a headache. And with a head this big, that's no joke." - me after playing this for 30 minutes

Agent758d ago

It wasn't too good on the Nintendo 64 all those years back. Hyped as GoldenEye 2, it didn't even come close. On the Xbox 360, it wasn't too good either. No more Perfect Dark games please.

I'll take the ones that can natively play a game thank you.

Loving the Switch 2 and ROG Xbox Ally X right now.

Ally is so good. I'm surprised how much I love. It also oddly has better battery life than the Switch 2.

"For players who regularly play away from a television, this reliability is still unmatched." - speaking like a true Nintendo fanboy!

LOL the explanation about the Portal is totally whacked and out of date, it's not even funny anymore. When was this article published? 2024?

Sorry to disappoint you Portal haters out there, the Portal works good everywhere, not just inside your house. I regularly use it at my office over 25km away from home using my office wifi with ZERO issues. Been playing it on the go over my phone's 5G connection too nowadays because...why not?

__y2jb12d ago

It lags out occasionally playing it at home so I severely doubt it works flawlessly over the public internet. Why are you lying?

badz14911d ago

LOL how bad is your internet or do you not even have 5G? Do you happen to connect your PS5 via wifi? That won't do. It's best to connect the PS5 using wired connection. I don't know how it is with the PS5 Pro using wifi7 though as I only have the original PS5.

https://www.youtube.com/sho...

That's a testimony on YT. And why would I lie about it? Unlike this article writer, I'm not paid to lie about my experience on MY PORTAL! I have 500Mbps connection at home and at the office, we have wifi7 which helps A LOT! I know the Portal only supports wifi5 but my god the experience I have at my office is just as I'm playing my Portal through my home connection, it's 99% flawless, it feels unreal!

On 5G, yes, I did several times experience loss of image quality as the Portal tries its best to maintain connectivity and disconnections at its worst, I won't deny that but I can always reconnect and resume playing. I'm mainly playing SP games on the Portal because the lag feels more noticeable for online MP. it's also way more stable on 5G compared to scenarios when the phone is alternating between 5G and 4G.

It used to be very unstable outside until sometimes later last year when the lag was noticeable enough to disrupt my driving in GT7 campaign. but late last year, they really have improved it a lot that playing GT7 is ok now. I even got several gold medals in the trials which was a nice surprise.

Sorry you have bad experience on your Portal but me? I'm having a blast. I've been using mine a lot nowadays. Playing couch co-op in Lego games with my kids is awesome. I only have 2 dualsenses, with the Portal, I have 3 and we can enjoy old games like Castle Crashers. I really only use my PS5 natively to play VR games and racing online on GT7 with the G29 wheel now.

Because this site is a borderline Sony cult.

5g on my phone works great. Don't notice any stutters myself

Recently got a fairly cheap Legion Go Z1 Extreme. Though I enjoy it and love sitting in bed playing Euro Truck Simulator 2. You really do have to scale back setting on anything remotely modern to get it playable (for me 60fps in the bare min). I tried playing Ghost of Tsushima on it and after setting everything to low and resolution to 1080p. FSR balanced and Frame Gen enabled getting a 70-80fps it was very playable felt smooth but looked like complete bum cheeks.

Experienced a friend Xbox Alley the basic white one. Felt nice to use Xbox experience was meh and performance on games where again bum cheeks. Terrible experience.

Playstation portal is my choice. Sure you need internet. But providing you have access to something half decent. It's a great experience. I don't even have to have my ps5 switched on

princejb13411d ago

You’re reaching. Anything about 30 fps is playable. I have the same device steamos edition and just beat expedition 33 and currently playing ff16 between 40-45 fps. 60fps and above sure is great but not really necessary. On top of it i can play emulators including many switch games (not all) effortlessly.
Biggest downside is the low battery when playing AAA games but i play plugged in on my couch or bed anyway.

andy8511d ago

Sure its playable but no one wants to be stuck at 30 fps in 2026, it feels horrible panning the camera.

ocelot0711d ago

It's 2026 imo 60fps is the min. Very few games are acceptable at 30fps lie animal crossing in switch 2.

I have the Legion go Z1 Extreme. I believe it only ever released with windows. Unless you have the new Legion Go 2 that has the Z2 or the £1300 one with z2 extreme. Or the legion go s with a z2.

No reaching here. I got it fairly cheap. However if I had paid the £700 launch price I would be expecting 60fps on minimum noting below.
