The first scenes that you see of the game are aerial shots of the various islands with a plane coming in for a landing over the ocean. The islands in the campaign are pre-built and designed to offer a different challenge, of course, but there's also randomly built islands that you can design to certain specifications. While the game is PC and Xbox 360 bound, the former will have a challenge editor that lets you create your own scenarios. Console players will miss out on that. Speaking of which, it's a bit unusual to see this game for a console, but the developers say they've adapted the control scheme to the gamepad and it plays well once you're used to it. Still, it'll be interesting to see if there's an audience for games like Tropico on the 360. PC gamers, on the other hand, might welcome back an old friend. Both versions ship in late September".
