Originally a PS3 launch game, the first MUA was plagued with issues on the PS3, most notably a really poor framerate that could only be cured when playing the game in 480p...which absolutely defeated the purpose of buying the PS3 version, when you could gain largely the same visual quality with the PS2 game and saving money in the process. But, it'll be three years soon and things have changed."

The Spider-man games will never happen. The xbox 360 Marvel Ultimate Alliance games have a better chance of happening than Spider-man titles but won't happen. The Xbox One Ultimate Alliance games delisted years ago
Yeah... you can totally forget about those entries that got delisted because of licensing issues. Those are not happening.
Almost all of the games people want to play are BC, and that's a hell of a lot better than having none available.
Almost all the games people want to play? Not true. Majority picks screw over the minority who have games collecting dust. Metal is right. Fans make it seem that it's all. 39/997 games from OG Xbox is NOT all. 568/2154 from 360 is NOT all. But you guys play it up like it is.
And from my count, there are 4,000+ PS4 BC games on PS5 that I see. And almost every VR game. Series X has no Kinect games or Kinect 2. But you played that up too. No more dancing.
As for the article, some of the BC games make sense. The others with Spider-Man aren't happening.

They should have added Alliance 1 with 2 and Xmen Legends still great games that I own and play.
Oh yeah I have these on ps3. Activision probably missed their chance but they just wanted the quick buck
Anything with a license at all any open world game with real world music on the radio, sports titles, racing games, rythem games the list goes on.
It's only stuff like tlou or horizon where it's all end to end Sony IP that I have no concerns about buying digital

Grab it while you can asap. Fun game and it should already be backwards compatible on ps5. I already have the digital 2 pack of both original Marvel ultimate alliance games on xbox one. I purchased them on sale just before they got delisted
This month, nearly a decade to the month after the release of its predecessor, Nintendo released Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, a return to the beloved ARPG Marvel gaming series that takes comic book crossover mania to a team-based beat ‘em up conclusion. But it also serves as a reminder that...god, things were so different back when Ultimate Alliance 2 was coming out, weren’t they?
Yeah. Just wait until the next big storyline is revealed in the MCU. Then all the crossovers will be about that.
But the Infinity Gauntlet is one of Marvel's most famous and popular stories. Even the fighting game Marvel Super Heroes was about it back in the 90's, long before the MCU was even an idea.
I agree it's time to move on. But with the MCU becoming far more popular and reaching way more people than the comics ever did, sadly we are living in a world where the movies will dictate most other forms of media, not the comics. At least, that is, until the MCU eventually runs out of gas. Which it eventually will just like all movie trends. But it could take quite a while for that to happen.
