I don't get it. XBL users pay for their service. This is just unacceptable. I can't recall 1 issue with PSN in my 2 years using it, and it's free. Come on now Microsoft.

These fools think servers don't crash and everything runs w/o maintenance. Yeah I pay $50 a year, but at least I don't have connection issues like I have w/ my PS3. PS3 signs you out if stay online too long without activity and sometimes gets DNS errors, so I guess you do GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

It went down because of server overload. For PSN, it goes down because its crappy.

Not that I care, I happened to be playing Alien Hominid last night when XBL crashed. I don't know if you guys understand, but this was a MAJOR ENTERPRISE-WIDE outage of XBOX LIVE. When this happens in the IT world, somebody's job is in immediate Jeopardy! This was not a planned/scheduled outage... so believe me, this is/was a big deal and somebody's head is rolling right now.

Especially since sites like N4G and others make it a big deal to report this as news. I know PSN has had a few past issues, but I never recall an Enterprise wide unscheduled network outage of PSN, although, I could be wrong.

at least when live is up and running it's not a POS service where as for PSN it's a POS regardless if it's up and running or not

Wow, Live was down for a whole 20min and it's news worthy. I watched the outage happen and know right when it came back and it was no more than 20 min.

I just came out a of a hectic 32 player online match of KZ2 and there's probably hundreds of people right now playing a full 32 player online match and there's not a single problem.

GeOW2 5 vs 5 online and the 360 struggles.
KZ2 16 vs 16 online no problems at all.

So much for the 'Superior Online Service' LMAO!!!
