According to an unnamed source, we have received word that Sony has developed a Peer to Peer (P2P) file sharing network that will allow users to seamlessly watch and share movies. There won't be any hassles to deal with involving the use of the network. The system works on the premise that one simply downloads the specific file and the movie will automatically begin playing. Also, the same source tells us that this service has the full support of Hollywood. To expand on this network, we've heard that they're planning to integrate the service into "Home", Sony's new online avatar-driven platform. Creating this service and offering it within "Home" would only further Sony's attempts at offering the ultimate multi-media experience. As of now, this is only a rumor, we'll have to wait till Sony openly confirms this.

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.

A brutal reset, a smarter story, and a return to what made it great—Mortal Kombat (2011) revived the series.
15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.

Why did Sony push Shuhei Yoshida out of his role leading PlayStation's first-party games? He'd overseen some huge successes. Well, apparently, he didn't listen.
Yeah I can see that for sure. Shuhei Yoshida should have been in charge not Jim Ryan.
More confirmation that Jim Ryan is the culprit for what has happened to Sony. Hulst needs to go too. What sucks is that a lot of the good top heads at Sony are no longer there. I wish that guys that were forced out prematurely by Dumbo Jimbo like Shuhei and Layden came back.
Makes you wonder if MS even thought about hiring him after Phil and Sarah were leaving. He certainly couldn't make their situation any worse.
All the gamer/consumer lead heads are gone across PS and Xbox. shuhei gone phil's gone (questionable) but gone. The future of gaming is somewhat uncertain across the board.
holy schmoly, that sounds cool
a p2p network for a gaming console? hmm, seems awefully familiar...oh yeah, it is the thing that sony fanboys have been ripping on microsoft when it comes to having a p2p network for it's online gaming community. but as usual, i am sure that you fanboys will somehow put a positive spin on this and say that you guys always thought a p2p network was the way to go and that sony is being "innovative" lol......
can't wait to find out how they are going to integrate the dedicated game servers with the p2p networks for use on Home. doesn't seem very organized or well-thought out....so basically you can be online, but still not be able to talk to friends if one is playing a game, and the other is hanging around in the Home lobby
News to me.
At least on the PS3 version you wont have to PAY to access it. That's right Xbots, keep PAYING for a service everyone on PS3s and PCs gets for free!
this is piracy heaven.
Hm, is this that pop-in-a-Blu-ray-watch-it-with -your-buddies-via-Home feature? I recall it being mentioned a while back.
It'd be cool for homebrew stuff too.
