I play this and get hooked on it, but I'm never sure WHY I'm enjoying it, lol. *goes back to playing Fat Princess*

Good on them i like it when problems are actually understood by the devs, i really want to purchase this.

First of all this doesn't use Sony's servers. Second I have suffered from very little lag, however it's very difficult to get into a game. But good thing that a fix is on its way.

I've only been able to connect online once, all the other times i've had to play the legend of the fat princess. My other complaint is that games can go on endlessly without either side capturing a princess, they should have done somehting to fix it after the beta which had the same problem

for gladiator i was having a hard time but i realize that i can regenarate health by not doing nothing,
he just sit and eat a cake soo easy...

at this point i've given up trying to play online. I can't believe they released such an anticipated and "high-profile" game in this state.

the only problem is the online connection, just fixed it and this game will be an AAA and best DL game of the year

if i will like this...what genre is this?....worth checking out?

I'm glad to see they have been quick off the draw at acknowledging the issues, makes a nice change!

I got the game soon after it dropped and had no probs at all at first. I've since been having some trouble connecting and some laggy games once I get in.

Its a fun game though and as they are addressing the issues I think it will be a game to keep us all amused for a wee while yet!

It's funny, I didn't think I liked it but I can't stop playing it. Dark Priest is my class, I usually play a ranger or priest before that. I'm surprisingly good at the game too. I'm finishing at the top of the leaderboards pretty consistently, may be a balancing issue with the dark priest, but I also don't care.

Once you get into an on-line game, it takes on a while new level of fun.

However, if you have to decide between this and Shatter, I'd go with the latter. FP is fun, but I find Shatter engages me far more, especially the hardcore gamer in me who seems to lay dormant until some evil time-consuming piece of software comes along and convinces him it's time to play :D

I have a hard time seeing who I am when the characters bunch up...this to me is one of my biggest issues, which I dont think can be fixed..

Kudos to the developer for staying ontop of the problems which sadly is the norm for online games at launch

For 2009, games that will clearly be remembered at the end of the year for being great are Flower and Fat Princess. Maybe we'll count Wipeout HD Fury Add-on since Bots like to count DLC as full games. Sony just keeps on chucking out those great games. MLB 09 The Show, Killzone 2, Flower, Fat Princes, Infamous, games in the west that we haven't received yet like Yakuza 3.

Still haven't played this.Wonder how it plays out

i'm still holding off on it because of the £12.99 (?) pricing, but from what i can read it's definately worth it?

i'im still trying to work through mirrors edge superstar & street fighters hard challenges trophy, so i need something to take the edge off of that.

Fat Princess is great but if you are going to have a public beta then I expect these kind of problems to be fixed before the full game is released.

I'm glad they are taking action so soon after the games release and are keeping the fan base informed a la Guerilla Games with Killzone 2 but the fact of the matter is that this should never have happened in this extreme.

It's possible someone forced their hand and made them release it before they were ready. So I will choose to believe that so I can continue to enjoy the game :)

Fat Princess is a solid game i wish they add co-op though in the gladiator mode at least

I have only been able to make it into one game in the last 24 hours. I keep dealing with the inevitable "failed to connect" window. I really want to play this game online because it has a lot of potential.

Dunno if they updated it or not, but I've been able to get into a lot of games now =D

Played offline for about an hour or so. Liking it so far, I'm sure it's better online. Hopefully they'll get the online fixed soon. Once that happens add me for some online matches.
