Yea, I think LBP meets Mario Kart is how this has been described for a while now. For me, that's awesome. I'm loving what I've seen of this game so far.

I love the "Play Create Share" genre, this should be a fun game.

I second that sentiment. I'm really curious to see this genre be taken further now. Be really curious to see what MM does next and if they take it to a new genre to tack that Play, Create, Share thing onto. Though I will have to say this: I don't know if it's just the "simple" nature of the game as opposed to platform design, but United Front seems to have done much better with the creating aspect on this game than Media Molecule did with LBP (at least with the user friendly aspect of it). I mean, I love LBP, and the create tool is very extensive and awesome, just not easy to make something worthwhile on there. This here looks like you can build what your heart desires and do it really easily. Then again, like I said, that might be largely due to the fact of the much simpler design of racing as opposed to platform. Just know that I'm going to definitely be doing alot of creating on here, whereas on LBP, I just wasn't good enough to do it.

All sites post press releases, that's why publishers send out press releases.

This is actually the game i'm looking forward too the most after god of war 3.

I'm a huge fan of Mario kart and this looks better.

Huge fan of Mario Kart as well...and CTR (it would be so incredibly awesome if it turns out United Front puts a battle mode in here like CTR had...oh I'd cream my pants I think lol). I don't however think I'm looking forward to this more than Uncharted 2...maybe a couple more as well. Though I think ModNation will definitely be in my Top 5 most anticipated games that we know of right now. Hell I'd even put it over GOW3 (that might be just because I've never played the first two--will be picking up 3 though definitely).

It is a real disapointment to see that the game will not feature 4 player split screens. For this type of game, it is mainly mandatory.

Without this feature, I loose interest in this game.

this just means that mario kart will remain my preferred kart racing game.

I'd agree that split-screen is mandatory. I don't know why all the fuss that it HAS to be 4-player though. I'm perfectly fine with it being 2 player split-screen. I can even remember back to Mario Kart (the original) and CTR days, it kind of even enhanced the party of it when it would be like 4 of us and get to sit back and battle it out, loser gives up the controller, making a lil tournament out of it, or endurance run to see how long you could go without giving up the controller. You kids are spoiled these days.

All-night basement tourneys for racing/fighting games. With multiple pizzas and 2-liters of soda. 10-12 screaming kids. Bragging rights at school for the entire week were on the line. 2 combatants fixated on a crummy 19" TV with the huddled masses intently watching our every move. Now that I look back on it, can't believe the parents put up with that. It literally was a microcosm of those giant Street Fighter tourneys you see in Korea.

BTW, shamska I understand your point. Just hoping JL and myself could help point out, sometimes less is more.

^Exactly dude. Those were the days. Now just imagine how 'wild' it was when we revisited those times back when I moved out for the first time. Still wild and young, out from under parents' supervision though (of course that was more the CTR run there, but we definitely brought Mario Kart back for that). Ah, such good times. Of course that 'revisit' time when out on our own got even wilder. 10-15 wild young adults. Beers and liquor. Blunts being passed around. Plenty of sh*t talking. Of course bragging rights. It says something when a nights of CTR/Mario Kart partying gets the cops called on you by the neighbors lol. I miss those days. Ah the pride of making that loser have to pass off his/her controller as you degrade them and the 'audience' jeers them. Yet, the shame of literally walking away empty-handed as you're taunted and have to hand the controller off.

I JUST discovered thit title about literally 3 hours ago. Looks absolutely amazing. Love kart racing and it looks like some great tracks will be made and shared. Can't wait!

Its a freaking cart racer - theres no point to it if i cant play with friends next to me :(.
