E3 2010 - What Will Happen?

OXMUK: We had Natal and Metal Gear this year. What will next year hold in store?

qface646181d ago

more about natal and a few game announcements here and there

Lfmesquite6181d ago

come on.... that's like beating a dead horse or beating your head against the wall, something like that. There's Metal Gear Rising coming to 360 now.

MGS4 didn't happen and who cares, the new Metal Gear game is multi.

Greywulf6181d ago

The 360 still wont get MGS4.

how many years is this in a row?

KingKionic 6181d ago

Sony showed assassins creed 2 at there conference .

LordMarius6181d ago

^^^
Because they had exclusive things to announce

GiantEnemyCrab6181d ago (Edited 6181d ago )

@1.3: I was just going to say the same thing.

Some people have their blinders on and they are lost causes..

Even getting their panties in a bunch because of the article pic. nutters!

Sounds to me like 10 will be no different then 09. Starting with the Year of XXXX, followed by overhype, followed by reality crashing in, followed by fanboy tears..

Snake Raiser6181d ago (Edited 6181d ago )

When I saw picture for this article I said "huh..I wonder who put this up." No surprises.
I think that if MGS4 was ever going to go multi-plat it would already have happened. If it ever happens it is kind of too late to dull the positive effect it had on PS3.

erathaol6181d ago (Edited 6181d ago )

MariusElijah is right though. There is connectivity between the PSP version of Assassin's Creed and and the PS3 version of Assassin's Creed 2, which is technically exclusive content that Assassin's Creed fans who buy both games can enjoy.

"Will you use the PS3/PSP connectivity function?

As players unlock health and Hidden blade upgrades in Assassin’s Creed 2 PS3, the same upgrades will be unlocked in Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines (PSP). It also works the other way round: on the PS3 you will be able to access any Templar Coins and special weapons you’ve collected on the PSP."

KingKionic 6181d ago (Edited 6181d ago )

Just like Microsoft had exclusive things to announce .

Modern ware fare 2 exclusive timed release of map packs before ps3 .
http://dlb-network.com/2009...

Same for Beetles rock band with exclusive songs .

http://www.thehdroom.com/ne...

GiantEnemyCrab6181d ago (Edited 6181d ago )

Well then I guess that kills Greywulf's comment then as well. Considering there are 360 exclusive things with the games that are "multiplat but pretend they are there own" BS that he is throwing out.

ah, Kionic beat me to it.. Shouldn't you be driving to Ubisoft to throw eggs at the building?? (kidding ;)

poopsack6181d ago (Edited 6181d ago )

"Oh and Sony might announce the end of the pain in the ass that the PS3 is for them. "

oh dear.

Greywulf6181d ago

Uncharted 2 was the big news at e3 for Sony. AS were most of its exclusive titles. Not multiplatform games.

If someone wrote the article for the ps3 they would say

"We had Assassins Creed 2 and Metal Gear Rising this year. What will next year hold in store? " Then mention said big news in the article.

Please.

KingKionic 6181d ago

You said :

"Microsoft will pretend a multiplatform game is big news at E3."

Microsoft didn't pretend about anything . They announced and showed new things coming in multi plat games .

There big news was there exclusive games .

C_SoL6181d ago

"""Downloading Full 360 Games From Dashboard (Probability: Extremely Low)

There's no denying that Microsoft is working towards a digital distribution future. We can already download films, Xbox Live Arcade games and original Xbox titles via dashboard. But full 360 games? If it ever does happen, it won't be next year, that's for sure.""""

I thought they already have that going on.

pwnzter6181d ago

join forces to stop nintendo from taking over the world. Once they succeed, Microsoft stabs Sony in the back like the cheap bastards they are. This prophecy has been foretold so rest assure, it will happen.

theEnemy6181d ago

on these people who still think MGS4 will come to the 360 coz' MGS:R is multiplat.

DeadlyFire6181d ago

One of a few things could happen at E3 2010. One being someone getting ready for a 2011 console launch. I know almost noone believes me right now, but I believe we will see potentially 2 new consoles at E3 2010. Maybe 3 who knows. :)

Microsoft has Project Phoenix. Which is said to upscale X360 games. More details later more than likely. Microsoft has said in the past it would want to be first to market in a new generation. Both Nintendo and Sony have sights on 2011 as a potential date.

Either way though support for these motion control systems will be thrown into all three consoles. Making 2 controller interfaces optional for 2 consoles.

saint_john_paul_ii6181d ago

why is heavy rain on that list when the game is being published by sony?

shadow-sentinel6181d ago (Edited 6181d ago )

I'm wondering why the article is using a picture of Old Snake when Xbox360 only got MGS: Rising. LOL...

rockleex6181d ago (Edited 6181d ago )

Alan Wake, Splinter Cell Conviction, Mass Effect, etc are all coming to PS3.

Its obvious because Sony already "stole" Tales of Vesperia, Bioshock, Ninja Gaiden, etc.

/facepalm

This "article" utterly fails.

Boldy6181d ago

"Downloading Full 360 Games From Dashboard (Probability: Extremely Low)"

A little slow on that one, eh?

Unicron6181d ago

This is the state of game "journalism."

Sad, isn't it man?

GiantEnemyCrab6181d ago

This has already been confirmed and I've already got the section on my dashboard. When was this article written before E3 09? Ugh, OXM.

DoctorSavage6180d ago

I was so taken aback I had to read that prediction twice. I am going out on a limb and say that on August 11th, 2009 we will be able to download full 360 games....just my prediction.

I don't work for a web site so take my prediction for what its worth.

JasonPC360PS3Wii6181d ago (Edited 6181d ago )

HAHAHA I love it when droids see their dreams as reality, and droids are good at it.

IcyJoker1876181d ago

blah blah blah blah droids blah blah........

gambare6181d ago (Edited 6181d ago )

nothing new here

-MD-6181d ago

Wait.. you thought Sony won? Oh jeez.

topdawg1226181d ago

Sony def won e3 cause they brought the games we want!
Not that Milo bs or stealing exclusives bs like metal gear and ff13

rohail886181d ago

droids, droids, droids.....i guess hes the only guy who keeps using that word!

Javier196181d ago

haha

Again...

Delusion is amusing :)

AngryTypingGuy6181d ago

Microsoft will overshadow, outperform and grab more media attention than Sony...again. But then Sony fangirls will make excuses and try to convince themselves and others that Sony did the best job...just like they did this year.

I also predict Sony will introduce a new exclusive IP to go along with their motion "wands" called Dildo Wars, and it will go on to become the highest selling PS3 exclusive ever, with 4.2 million copies sold.

"Gaming’s Biggest Fighting Franchise"

Press X to (seriously) doubt.

DarXyde71d ago

Underrated comment. I used to hate that game so much that any time my siblings asked me to play it, I just picked Hom and shut myself down mid-match.

Soy72d ago

And then MK1 killed it again.

15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.
