Fair enough, but I hope they would allow you to transfer the rights of the 'original console' downloaded to another one. Isnt't that what the license transfer tool is for?

Arthur_6135d ago

But to be honest it doesn't matter. I have taken my memory card to a friends house(and I have also recovered my account there before too), and I re-DL the content. Works fine. And this will too. :)

dragunrising6134d ago (Edited 6134d ago )

I have tried this also, however its not without its issues. Only one gamertag may use the associated content purchased with that gamertag, without limit. What this means is that a secondary (your friends) console will have to hook up to the Internet permanently to verify the purchased content...and be signed into your profile every time to use said content. This makes sense if your at a friends/family's home, however its not practical otherwise.

Yeah, but how long will it take to download a game, thats the bigger question.

ShadowMantis6135d ago

I'm tired of waiting forever so a game to be downloaded!

Man_of_the_year6135d ago (Edited 6135d ago )

I hope you're not blaiming MS for the amount of time to DL a 6-7 gig game? If you want to complaine about the time it takes to DL a game, talk to your internet provider.

It's all based on your internet connection.

To bad MS didnt have the foresight to give me a bigger HD. My tiny launch 20G drive is to small to really be effective in using GOD.
Also MS charges rip off prices for HD.
MS is clueless, by the above with forsight about hardware.
FACT

darkequitus6135d ago

I don't think it was about foresight but about cost. Yes 20b was too small. I got stung with that. I had to buy a 120gb for £99, when I moved to the US a year later I had to shell out again with my new arcade because of DRM. Use my UK 360 when I want to play DLC such a Halo 3 and Gears 2 packs and Lost and Damned Luckily I found a 120gb for $79 on Amazon all inclusive.

^^
Yea..that was MS plan and it was in their forsight from the get go

and sorry in this case clearly disagrees = denial

Marty83706135d ago

Bots tiny hard drives will last long with this service.

Wow MS really thought that through.

Man_of_the_year6135d ago

Well you could always buy a bigger HDD for the console. Isn't that what a lot of Droids on this site did with their PS3? They said that they went out and bought a larger HD. I mean with all the Mandatory Installs and all. Wow Sony really thought that one through.....

Tinted Eyes6135d ago (Edited 6135d ago )

mandatory installs hardly happen anymore

difference with the ps3 is you can buy a cheap laptop hd for more space

but the 360's is proprietary from microsoft and cost way more money, for a smaller size thats the difference

blackpanther256135d ago

yeah your right sony did think it through that's why you CAN change your hard drive easily without voiding the warranty. If its anything sony did right it was that. Microsoft is a different story.

Anyway i'm gonna have to buy a bigger 360 HDD for my cousin(and
i), since he is horrible at maintaining disc-based games.

ShadowMantis6135d ago

360's memory is f'd up,I have way more mem space on my PS3. Damn Microsoft!

DelbertGrady6135d ago

Yeah that bottleneck RAM that forces third party devs to lower the texture resolution on their PS3 games really rocks.

CryingDemon6135d ago

I ran out of space cuz I have too many pics of u on my PS3 Shadow
wink wink
if ya know what I mean
BTW I've seen one of ur pics so I had to get more...hehehe

"Gaming’s Biggest Fighting Franchise"

Press X to (seriously) doubt.

DarXyde23d ago

Underrated comment. I used to hate that game so much that any time my siblings asked me to play it, I just picked Hom and shut myself down mid-match.

And then MK1 killed it again.

15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.
