IncGamers goes back to Aion and checks out the gameplay of this highly anticipated MMO.
The stunning graphics that Aion boasts has been one of the many things that have contributed to the hype surrounding the title. But is that all there is to the game? Is it another WoW clone, will it suffer the same fate of Tabula Rasa, or will it plod along like Age of Conan with a small but dedicated fan base? Or, as some fans claim, will it be the next big thing?

AION 8.6 patch notes: Burning Blood Fortress, Aphsaranta season reset, new weapon progression, and the biggest endgame changes.

Aion 2 receives major updates in Korea with a new dungeon, Libra system, Abyss changes and progression improvements ahead of global release plans.

Aion 2 launches globally in 2025 with Unreal Engine 5, revamped combat, PvE focus, and a fresh take on the classic MMO experience.
There's no doubt Aion's graphics are stunning, I guess the truth will show towards end game.
It has the potential to be the next big thing, but people are traditionally socially "lazy". They won't change from WoW until it's entirely obsolete...
They better have excellent features. It can have the best graphics, but if its empty within, It's just graphics.
It's not empty though by the looks of it. From this, I'd say it has massive potential.
Sounds like they've been really imaginative, particularly with regards to the emotes. I'm not convinced by an XP penalty for dying - those have always felt out of place, although I concede that there needs to be a harsher penalty than a little bit of in-game cash - but still, this sounds amazing.
