UGO writes: "I own Echochrome and was initially intrigued by its design, but what irritated me the most about the game were the controls of rotating the 3D world to accommodate my character -- that and I gave up after the first few levels. But with Echoshift, I didn't want my preview to stop. I didn't have to rotate anything. I only had to press a bunch of colored buttons and plan how to use my solid echo to set up the next play through of the level. Sure, there is bound to be some frustration in the harder levels but still look forward to the challenge when this new puzzle game is released".

PSP puzzler Echoshift, which you can play on PS5 and PS4 via PS Plus Premium has been updated today with Trophy support. It follows on from a series of updates implemented under the hood by Sony for other classic titles brought back via its subscription service. The Trophy list is live now, with 30 gongs to grab and a Platinum Trophy.

The company had already previously announced that two PSP games would be coming to the service on July 19.
These titles, No Heroes Allowed! and LocoRoco Midnight Carnival, have still been added today.
However, they have also been joined by PSP puzzle game Echoshift.

Echoshift was designed to challenge the most devout puzzle fans, a respectable move but one that ultimately alienates fans of the original.
