Speaking exclusively to IncGamers, Champions Online's Bill Roper has expressed his feelings about former Blizzard colleague, David Brevik, heading up a competing superhero MMO, Marvel Universe.

Cryptic Studios announced with a press release that more of its veteran developers have returned to the studio following tenures elsewhere.

The MMO studio says it’s “unifying legacy expertise with fresh perspectives”

Cryptic Studios appears to be the latest Embracer-owned company to be impacted by layoffs.
Nice to see they're still good friends after everything.
Roper seems like a sound bloke.
Roper gets a lot of stick because of Hellgate, but he's clearly a nice guy.
Polite and nicely worded. I reckon he's right, though - there's enough time between the two that they're not going to hugely impact each other. I reckon Champions might see a drop in subscribers when Marvel comes out, but it may only temporary, in much the same way as WoW loses players for awhile whenever a new MMO comes out.
will be interesting to see how Marvel Universe differs to Champions Online
