The CEO of Nightdive Studios has said in a tweet that the game is currently on the list for a modern update.
Oh I'm sold already, Nightdive does really solid remasters, and to this day I still love the darkness

Excellent news. The Darkness is one of my all-time favorite games and the sequel is great too. I've just recently had a great time replaying them on my PS3. Unfortunately it's kinda hard to recommend them these days, because they're stuck on PS3 and 360 so a remaster would certainly be appreciated. Nightdive has been killing it lately.

Now I'm hoping they remaster more of starbreeze's games. Namely the chronicles of riddick games
Chronicles of Riddick Escape from Butcher Bay , is one my favorite gaming experience I ever had . Great game .!

Recently ran through The Darkness 2 on PS3 again.
I hated the switch in style when it first came out but they're both amazing games.
Popularized by Doom in 1993 and still making video game haters gnash their teeth today, first-person shooter games are the best thing to happen to gamers since pizza rolls. So here are 15 underrated first-person shooter games you may have missed.
Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.

All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.

I really want a game that can build up the suspense and then scare you enough to want to play with the lights on.
I think this developer can do no wrong. In my opinion Chronicle of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay was waaay ahead of its time when it was released. It played like a nex gen game only it was.. well, last gen :P.
Anyway.. Does anyone else think that the hand gestures that npc's will do in this game when talking to you will not make them so much more believable. Something small like that I think will have a big impact on the game :)
