IGN: Head-To-Head: BlazBlue

IGN.com writes: The Head-to-Head is designed to let gamers know which version of a multiplatform game is worth their hard-earned money. We break down each segment of a game and then tell you which platform reigns supreme when the dust settles.

Developer ARC System Works has dabbled in the world of 2D fighting for a long time. Making a name for itself with the Guilty Gear franchise, its next major soiree into fighting games is BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. BlazBlue is a 2D, one-on-one fighter with an incredible sense of style, some amazing visuals and satisfying gameplay. The game also features a wildly eccentric (and diverse) cast, numerous modes of play, unlockables and -- don't forget -- a killer soundtrack. This is one of the best 2D fighters to come along in a long while.

if you love fighting games, then look no further because blazblue is probably one of the best if not the best fighting game ever to come out this generation. it can even go toe to toe with the mighty sf4 and on some instance it's even better.

LoT did a 360 vs PS3 comparison and they said it ended in a tie. Despite complaining about "When I wanted to move left I more often crouched or jumped," they said everything is the same, 360 controls suck, it's a tie.

In what world do you have two identical versions of a game, but one has poor controls and you figure that ends in a tie?

This -IMHO- is the best fighting game this generation so far ( Street Fighter IV simply did not impress me at all, plus I think the art design sucks hard, up everything very poor backgrounds. Soul Calibur IV is a joke, nothing to spare with the third that was a masterpiece ).
Ark System Works made a great work, I like it more that Guilty Gear :D

BTW UFC Undisputed is not bad at all!

And why did IGN not mention the blurry background on the PS3 version that was brought up by Lens of Lie, I mean, Truth..

BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger PC Review | RGN

DJ Killzown Jones of RGN writes, "BlazBlue Calamity Trigger is still a solid fighter that PC fighting game fans should pick up . It is a bit of a disappointment that long load times of the games original release are still present and the games sequels aren’t offered as expansions/add on’s but these things alone should shy away games that haven’t played the game or others who are returning to the series."
