Metal Gear Solid 3 is a rip-off from James Bond what a joke i haven't seen jame bond ever eat snakes or anyother jungle creatures for that matter, so some of MGS3 came from James Bond but not all the stuff you seen in James Bond is in MGS3.

I think because the game is an espionage game, the writer called it as a James Bond rip off.... "Snake Eater", the title song is very Bond-esque but that surely doesn't make it a rip off. Perhaps the author thought that James Bond is the only spy in the world so anyone who makes a game based around espionage has to be copying :-S

Metal Gear Solid 3 is probably my favorite game of all time, not to mention the greatest game that graced the PS2 for me. There are small similarities like the Snake Eater theme song maybe but that is all that comes to mind when comparing the two(even though it obliterates all the james bond theme songs!!). If you have have never played the game before and if you did you would sense that there is nothing out like MGS3 and to call it a blatant rip-off, you must have the IQ equivalent to a snail - oh like the moron who wrote this crap from destructoid.

Ps. James Bond has nothing on Naked Snake :p

Huh. As the author of the piece and a huge fan of both Metal Gear Solid 3 and James Bond, I thought I was paying it a compliment. Oh, and there's always that thing about the cinematics, storyline and characters being pretty clearly inspired by Bond stories.

MGS3 greatest game of all time and greatest prequel of all time the ending had me at tears and seeing Big Boss die at the end of MGS4 was a tear jerker T_T WWHHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY YY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But Kojima took ALOT of influence from James Bond films with MGS3, He said this himself!
Therefore, it's JamesBond-ey.

And seriously, N4G, I'm dissapointed.
This cut-scene has been known to be around, and is easy to get since the release of the game.
How this managed to get approved, and then make it upto the hot news stories I don't know.
