TheSixthAxis: Needless to say that the game works fine on the 360 with only a couple of disconnections during the high demand period when there were only a few servers.
Which leaves us to then accuse the PS3 and its hardware as the reason for this epic fail, that the voice chat software is weak and just not up to scratch. An easy accusation to make and one that would excuse EA and DICE of these issues as they can only work with the tools to hand.
But then Killzone 2 has worked flawlessly for me, Inferno Pool has also worked fine. The only games that have suffered with this voice chat problem are Battlefield 1943 and Call of Juarez, both released recently I might add. Whether this is down to developers getting sloppy (or remaining sloppy in some cases) or a recent update has altered voice chat in some shape or form we shall probably never know.

EA: "As we close in on 15 years since the release of Battlefield 1943, and Bad Company™ 1 & 2, we are announcing that their journey is coming to an end."
This reminds me... I have ME on my PS3 hdd. Never really played it, but it was free.
On PC I don't think it's much of a problem but I'm sad to see BF43 being shut down. I haven't played it in a while since it's stuck on PS3, but i preferred it way more over BF3. It was the lack of invisible barriers which made it better for me.
Does anyone play the last BF anymore? I searched crossplay servers and it was 20 people the most on all the servers? Can never find a game

Carlos writes: "In terms of Battlefield, the past 10 years has seen the series go from strength to strength, and whilst there will be many who would argue that the hit and miss adventures of Battlefield: Hardline didn’t quite live up to the excitement that the series is so well known for, each and every entry has at least provided plenty to shout about. Should you look back far enough and manage to take your mind away from Battlefield: Bad Company 2, what you may well remember is a small, online-only multiplayer adventure that lit up the Xbox Live Arcade – Battlefield 1943."
Great little game but yet again, no offline bots so once the servers went, so did all its players. What a waste.

Game developers should - and can - trust the player to consume their entertainment while maintaining perspective.
it suffers just as bad on the 360, not the voice chat but the game finding etc
What a stupid article title
Ballsupfield is about as bad a pun as battlefailed.
on my 360 and ps3 and it looks way better on the ps3. the ps3 is sharper and i can read the small text on the screen while with the 360 version its blurry. its not just the text either, its like the whole game is sorta blurry on the 360. does anyone else here have both systems that can tell me why this might be? are there any tweaking tricks to the 360? i would like to play with my friends on the 360 when theyre on but its annoying to have to deal with the bad image quality.
