Crackdown DLC Coming Soon?

A forum post from a staff member over at the Crackdown boards seems to suggest that the long awaited downloadable content for Crackdown may be with us in the next couple of weeks. Here at The Above Domain we're hoping this turns out to be true as Crackdown is just about to slip off the gaming radar as far as most people are concerned and is now being treated solely as a ticket to Halo 3 in May. Crackdown deserves more than this and we trust that Realtime Worlds get their act in gear and release the long overdue new content as many gamers would still rather be playing Crackdown than bunny hopping around in the Halo 3 Beta, plus there's still that little matter of 100 gamer points they still owe us all!

HILARIOUS how he says he'd rather play Crackdown, than BUNNY HOP in Halo.

That is so true, Halo is one of the lamer games i have played..all you do is jump around like a little rabbit haha.

I have Crackdown and enjoy it alot. I think that the Halo 3 Beta will hurt some of their sales for sure though. Thats just like how every single demo released on the Marketplace has given me reasons not to blind buy a game.

I'm guessing it will be free, too.

Since they don't offer the standard 1000 points for Gamerscore the expansion better be free or at least part of it.

Yep, first batch should be free to get us up to 1000 points. I am very excited to see what they come up with as far as content.

good good, i got to admit that i dont actually play Crackdown as much anymore, not saying its not a good game before Sonyfanboys try to twist it around, but i think Gears of War is much more adictive :P hehe. look forward to this update, especially as i was going to play Crackdown last night :D

"Gaming’s Biggest Fighting Franchise"

Press X to (seriously) doubt.

Underrated comment. I used to hate that game so much that any time my siblings asked me to play it, I just picked Hom and shut myself down mid-match.

And then MK1 killed it again.

15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.
