Larian Studios can be considered the pride of the Belgian gaming scene with such games as Divine Divinity, Beyond Divinity. Divinity 2: Ego Draconis is also nearly amongst us. Despite good reviews and likewise sales, it's always risky to start a new game. Swen Vincke, boss at Larian Studios, was able to answer a few questions concerning the game and its possible effect on the future of the company.
Kirill Pokrovsky, who composed the music of Larian Studio's Divinity series of games, passed away yesterday.
"A great man, a fantastic composer and a good friend passed away yesterday. Rest in peace Kirill Pokrovsky – we will miss you."

He have filled me with Magic since 2002, with the Release of Divine Divinity. His Music gaves me alot of chills. And he was a nice person too. My best wishes to the Family, i will miss him and his music that he woud have written.

Larian Studios have over the past few weeks really been pushing Divinity out to the masses in a huge way. It all began on the tenth anniversary of the RPG series a few weeks ago now.

CalmDownTom says, "I hold in my hands the product of over 10 years of hard work. A series of games that could very easily have slipped away and gone unpublished. Lucky for me then that the folks at Larian Studios are a tenacious bunch!"
And I was just b!tchin' an hour or so ago about how there was an RPG famine going on this year.
Picking this up for sure.
The first 2 Divinity games - Divine and Beyond Divinity - were excellent, if technically unimpressive. This iteration seems to have fixed that issue.

It seems like when formerly PC centric developers who could do lower risk cheaper to develop PC only games move to doing multiplatform games it nearly kills them from the higher cost.
