SF gameplay never get old,i recommend gamerz to also try VF5 it's a masterpiece.

hay6149d ago

I care to disagree. I know that opinion is like as$ but I played SF series from early 90s and IMO SF4 was big disappointment. BlazBlue is a lot better in any way. Duh, Soul Calibur 4 was more fun for me.

TheHater6149d ago

have to agree. Blazblue is a lot better fighting game that all those other games on that list.

immortal846149d ago

BlazBlue is a very good game i played it on xbox360, and i enjoyed it a lot.
The list of the best 5 fighting games vary from one person to another.

@immortal84: That's why I marked it's only my opinion three times.

man the more they do changes in SF the more it will get far from its origin, SFIV was nothing near disappointment for me but anyways i do respect ur opinion

Keowrath6149d ago

List fails for putting DC vs MK anywhere near it.

biloz6149d ago

did u try it (DC vs MK)??

Keowrath6149d ago

Yeah, I picked it up for cheap a while ago and still have it. I've completed the MK Universe story but never managed to get around to the DC side of things (I'm not a massive DC fan anyway, Lobo is the only character in the DC universe I've enjoyed and I think he's a brilliant character but sadly he was excluded from the game)

I'm one of those shallow MK fans, the only worthwhile thing it brought to the table was over the top death moves and the odd funky character. I absolutely adored MKII but it was never for the actual gameplay. Mortal Kombat back then brought something new to the table which it's been trying (in vain) to do ever since but IMHO the series has just got worse over the years (And yes, I still own pretty much every Mortal Kombat that's been released)

This is a list of best fighting games this generation and due to it's clunky gameplay DC vs MK fails and is noway in the same league as SF IV, SC IV, VF5, Blazblue and Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection Online... Hell even Battle Fantasia is a better fighter!

I Don't hate MK, not at all! I hope MK9 somehow manages to go back to it's roots and maybe even have a decent fighting engine behind it.

biloz6149d ago

man Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe is not that shallow fighting game, well at least it was one of those games that can be played by both hardcore gamers and casual ones and it has a really solid online gaming ability.

now regarding the game play i found it really entertaining and challenging maybe,I spent hours and hours playing with my friends and it was nothing but fun, now at the end of the day its still just my opinion and even if u agreed only on 3 of my selection i can still say that we have a good match ;)

Panzer Dragoon Saga HD ?? Shining Force 4 or 3 hd ?? Phantasy Star V ??..................

ZeekQuattro249d ago

Panzer Dragoon maybe. I don't see Sega touching those other ips unfortunately. I at least wish they would do a Shining Force collection that includes SFIII.

Pergele248d ago

Shining Force 3 collection or 4 with 2D graphics will always be my most wanted game.

Agent75248d ago

Please, no RPGs. Sick of all these SEGA games for the Japanese market.

Lightning77249d ago

jet Set Radio, Gunvalkyrie, Otogi, please let it be. Jetset is by far the most realistic one to show up. One can hope for the other 2.

Agent75248d ago

SEGA's game catalogue has been a bit naff after the Xbox 360 and PS4. Stop those Mega Drive/Genesis collections and move onto arcade classics, some which never got released on consoles. Not sure what's happened to the new Crazy Taxi and Golden Axe etc., but the likes of Virtua Racing, Super Hang On, ESWAT and maybe even Alien Storm are due sequels.

FinalFantasyFanatic248d ago

Persona 6 and Skies of Arcadia remaster/port please, there's heaps you could surprise me with, and I'd probably be happy with it.
