i think sony did something very good when they supported the development of the cell.

they can use the same technology for the next playstation. just add more cores and ram and there you go. it will be a cheap, powerful console without high development costs.

Doesn't list any actual facts about the games and spews mindless hate (even on a story that has NOTHING TO DO with the 360), and before everyone rushes to the "Disagree" button, first off, both consoles are great. They both have great games that you haven't tried (thats at you, Xbox Fanboys, as well). Halo is a great game that nobody has given a chance, it's just a popular thing to direct hate at that game. If I said Killzone 2 was just a generic FPS, would I be right? Of course I wouldn't! I haven't tried the game, so I can't spew hate. But unintelligent people just rush to their keyboards and neddlesly trash other games.

By the way, the "Red Ring of Death" excuse is an unoriginal one to fire at Xbox owners. You know why you hear about it so much? Because so many people have an Xbox! For every Xbox that breaks, there's a lot that don't. Besides, repair is free, and it gets you off your lazy ass for 2 weeks, so what's the big deal?

I agree. I see that alot too, drivel about "oh PS3 is only good for crunching numbers, let's see number-crunching made into a good game". It's sad really.

It means that developers should shut their mouths and quit spouting crap about how hard it is to dev on PS3 and actually go to work and do their job; to optimize their own code on a console capable of doing so much.

That list is insane! The toughest choice will be which ones to buy first.

Wow, it took you long enough. I was going through all the comments just wondering, "When is some asshole going to come and make a statement against the 360? When?" And then... I saw you.

I haven't seen a single 360 game that can beat PS3 on those elements, even when split up. The Uncharted 2 gameplay footage and real-time cinemas pretty much proved that.

i remember not too long ago on this very site, when Xbox 360 gamers would shout "the proof is in the pudding" whenever a Playstation 3 fan would proclaim that the PS3 was capable of beautiful graphics.

when those very same PS3 gamers would point out beautiful games like Heavenly Sword, Ratchet and Clank Future, Uncharted: Drakes Fortune (and upcoming games like MGS4, LBP, God of War 3, and Gran Turismo; this was back in 2007, when i first joined the site, so those games weren't out yet), the 360 fanboys would then point at metacritic scores, and when that didn't work, they fell back on the tried and true "sales is better than game quality" argument.

so now, i ask you, PROVE ME WRONG. please enlighten me as to that Xbox 360 game that has the level of animation, lighting, texture work, facial animation, NO LOAD TIMES, and no installs like Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

when Gears of War was top graphical dog, and Playstation 3 fans said that the PS3 would be able to produce visuals on par with it, they said "prove it." now i'm throwing the gauntlet down and asking you.

even Killzone 2 has more going on in one instant of gameplay than any 360 game on the table, but Uncharted 2 is more than enough to silence critics. i won't even mention games like Ratchet and Clank Future, which simply steamrolls over any other cartoon based video game in terms of graphics, gameplay, and stuff going on at one time (not to mention tons of enemies on screen).

i've noticed that when someone can't disprove a truthful statement around here, they either call the person a fanboy, or call them names.

instead of calling me an asshole for pointing out an inarguable FACT, prove my statement wrong with facts of your own, instead of getting butthurt and sensitive. you got a bubble left, so don't waste it.
