After a short delay, Darkfall players can now purchase the North American game client.
NA players who have been using the EU client can convert their account to a NA one, however, EU players wanting to use the NA client must either buy the new client and start over, or wait three months to transfer their naked and possession-less characters across.
Aventurine Studios published their tentative patch notes for their upcoming update for Darkfall: Unholy Wars. The new patch makes some major changes to combat, the tweaks to the combat system were largely based on player feedback.

A bit unfair you if you transfer over you don't get to keep your gear.
I guess it's to prevent Euros having NA clients? But they don't mind so they offer the service... so whats the difference... oooh my head hurts...
Is there any real reason for EU players to want to play on the NA server? I mean, assuming they have American friends who're playing it, then they're presumably on the EU servers already so there's no point in moving across, surely?
I can't see why anyone would want to transfer with that penalty.
