i think its time to call it a day with the ps2, i see more advertising for it than the ps3
I guess if people are still buying the hardware/software, they might as well keep supporting it, but I just can't bring myself to spend money on a PS2 game anymore now that I have 2 HD consoles to keep me occupied.
Once in a while a new PS2 game comes out that looks cool (which I could play on my 60 gig), but I can never shake the feeling that I should just wait for the HD version.

Because the Wii and PS2 are in direct competition with each other.
Just look at the multiplatform games coming out that are the same on both platforms. Like Ghostbusters for instance, same game.
So as long as people make games for the Wii, I think Sony should just get them ported over.
