I just hope people actually play. I loved Catan on 360. It will love and die by voice chat. I said it back then and I’ll say it now. Party chat is the best worst thing invented. Everyone will just sit in a party instead of work as a team and interact with players of the game they are in. Catan is a board game. There’s a reason there aren’t really single player board games. The social aspect is the lifeblood.

Actually solo play and automata rules in board games is a huge market, now more than ever. Most big crowd funded games need to have 1 player rules included.
I get what you're saying Catan definitely needs the social interaction to shine but you definitely missed the mark saying there aren't many 1 player games

Oh I agree. It kinda takes away what I love about the hobby but it's the only way some people get to enjoy it
