Example

GTAIV DLC's
The Shivering Isles
Fallout 3 DLC

But I hate crap like

Horse armour

is the lost and damned,so many great moments,it's so unique seeing what happening in liberty city from another angle,it worth every penny

and some dlc's are just straight rip off,resi5,im looking at you, mp mode(amazing game btw)

content already there in the disk,1.96MB download for 400 points(5$)

CrazyOrange6170d ago

i dont think the content was on the disc because they didnt add new thing i mean like weapon or stuffs like that, just new mode.

its only programing code which won't take much .

Wolfmoonstrike6170d ago (Edited 6170d ago )

Resi5 versus mode should have been an update not DLC. I mean that is bullshit especially releasing it so soon after the game came out.

I think I like Criterion Games' method I mean they updated a lot of Burnout Paradise with free content and only later did they bring out premium dlc. I think that's doing it right.

Valkyria Chronicles seems to be doing it right as well bring extra stuff out about year after the game was out to boost sales and to extend life span.

But the s**t that barely adds anything and costs like $5 is bull I mean if it's so damn small add it for free for the people that support your game, mainly because that builds rapport and the consumers will more likely buy your DLC because of your continued support.

I'm loving some of the contents like GTA4, Fallout 3 and L4D. However, there are some that are BS and won't buy.

Jack Klugman6170d ago

i will always prefer physical copies of games over download only. i dont trust these companies enough to give them that much control.

AsILayDying6170d ago

i love dlc , but i hate waiting for it lol

Defectiv3_Detectiv36170d ago

Yeah, alot of people complain when DLC comes out too early, but it also sucks waiting forever. As long as its not already on the disc, like some DLC, where you're just paying to unlock it(RE5), I don't have any beef.

"Gaming’s Biggest Fighting Franchise"

Press X to (seriously) doubt.

Underrated comment. I used to hate that game so much that any time my siblings asked me to play it, I just picked Hom and shut myself down mid-match.

And then MK1 killed it again.

15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.
