After the release of IE8 and the universal acclaim it has gained I don't know how anyone would choose inferior browsers from the competition over the latest iteration in the award winning IE8 series, it's just so slick and so fast that I will never need another browser again.

verb3k6201d ago

Sorry, but I think you are an uniformed noob.

Snake Raiser6201d ago

First of all IE8 is one browser, not a series. Second of all it hasn't won many awards. Third of all IE has traditional been last in speed tests against all other browsers. This includes Google chrome, Firefox, Opera, and Safari. While I have my preference any of those choices is superior to IE.

Begging for bubbles = loss of bubbles

darkmurder6200d ago (Edited 6200d ago )

How did you get your Fast Dial to look like that? All I have is the Chrome style.
Edit:
NVM found it

NoScript, the ultimate security add-on for Firefox. Like Adblock, but with a broader range of protection.

Upgraded to 3.5 already, I'd say its noticeably faster than 3.0

gaffyh6200d ago

Yeah it is definitely a lot faster, seems more stable too.

GEESE6201d ago

But still buggy atm and gets stuck sometimes. So until that is perfected Firefox is still king. I also love how customizable Firefox is. Noia extreme all day!!

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

dveio53d ago

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Jingsing53d ago

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Tanktopmaster9253d ago

Once they re-evaluate exclusive all will be fine….

S2Killinit53d ago

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

Jingsing53d ago

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.

Tanktopmaster9253d ago

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
