IGN writes: "Smash Ball is a fun, free (as long as you have Half-Life 2 installed) distracter from your usual gaming habits. The strategy that's built into the game is sadly lost in the frenetic action that's constantly going on, and that's a shame because there's the potential to have some cool moments of teamwork. There's still plenty to do on the four maps that are currently available, thanks largely in part to the different player types and power-ups that can be assigned. If you're looking for a new use for the Source Engine that also provides plenty of fast fun, look no further than Smash Ball".
As part of their PAX Online coverage Skewed and Reviewed got to play the game which has a Rocket League vibe to it.
