Today the Original Final Fantasy was released on the PlayStation Network in Japan. Aggrogamer speculated on a release States side and in Europe in the not to distant future as well.
Magic the Gathering x Final Fantasy has been so successful that it managed to sell $200 million in just 24 hours.
I think if helped they the prices for all these products were extremely high at launch. Like no other cross over had prices these high. LotR for example weren't even close to FF MTG prices

If Square ports over 9 then I'll be all over it. It's by leaps and bounds my favorite in the series and it's been a long time since I've gone through it. Freya's Theme in that game is still my favorite piece of videogame music. :)
Hooray, a lousy port of a good game.
I still have my NES copy so I think I'll pass. It's the best version and even if it finally craps out, Nintendo's bringing the NES version to the VC any ways.
