IGN: BlazBlue Fighter Spotlight

BlazBlue, the hyper slick 2D fighting game from ARC System Works, is heading to store shelves in just a few weeks. The game follows in the footsteps of the cult classic Guilty Gear series by throwing wildly imaginative characters into fast-paced battles and giving players some of the most beautifully animated sprites around.

Considering the game's upcoming arrival, IGN wanted to take a look at just a few of the amazing characters that inhabit the BlazBlue universe, as the roster is clearly one of the game's highlights. Fortunately, the fighters aren't the only thing to marvel at in BlazBlue -- the gameplay is already frantic, fun and incredibly precise.

Guilty Gear in my book is the best 2d fighter... period. The atmosphere, the characters, the story... just amazing. Blazblue is gonna be fun. A bit disappointed by the small character roster but I'm sure as the series progresses they'll add a lot more.

And as far as Ragna vs Sol and Jin vs Ky, newbies are never a match for vets. Couldn't you just see Sol and Ky just owning Ragna and Jin across the level lol.

BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger PC Review | RGN

DJ Killzown Jones of RGN writes, "BlazBlue Calamity Trigger is still a solid fighter that PC fighting game fans should pick up . It is a bit of a disappointment that long load times of the games original release are still present and the games sequels aren’t offered as expansions/add on’s but these things alone should shy away games that haven’t played the game or others who are returning to the series."
