The calm before the storm...

"Arguably the biggest videogame announcement of the year, Metal Gear Solid: Rising, like every Metal Gear Solid title ever, has had speculation-o-meters across the gaming stratosphere overloading with talk of the who, why, when, how and WTF!? of exactly what Kojima Productions is up to this time. As usual, the 'what we think we might know' vastly outweighs what we definitely know. In fact, this is Kojima we're talking about – do we definitely know anything?"
Looks like Hideo Kojima had a great time in the UK, Addict of Fiction also get the scoop on Zone of the Enders.

Last weekend saw the return of BAFTA’s annual Games Lecture, with this year’s speaker being Hideo Kojima, the creator of such franchises as ZOE, Snatcher and, of course, Metal Gear Solid.
Hideo had a lot to say on the current state of the industry, the way that he designs games and his ideas for the future. So lets have a run-down of what was discussed at the event.
Metal Gear Rising is apparently “crazy fun” according to Joel, who’s one of the lucky few to have played it. Here he is with Leon to talk about the recent gameplay video and how slicing things up really works.
I love how Konami was sneaky enough use the distraction of going multiplatform to disguise the fact the the main character is going to be #**@ing raiden.
Not really a preview, is it...
I wonder why Raidens eyes are brown. Kojima needs the explain that.
It really is a game that should be experienced by EVERYONE. Even though most xbox owners won't appreciate it, some will. Besides we all know where all the real talent is going into. Peacewalker.
