Assassins creed.

Prototype is the junkfood of the gaming industry. Cheap, easy and unhealthy.

only because i enjoyed it more than assassins creed 1, prototype didn't have a story really. also assassins creed 2 isn't out yet so its kinda point less to compare them.

Prototype and Assassin's Creed are both great, but Infamous is simply the best of the three.

I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a game as much as inFAMOUS. I just couldn't put the controller down (Hero). Beat it in two days, wanted to take a break for a week before finishing it off but I couldn't even do that. Started a new game (inFAMOUS) and had the platinum w/in 6 days of release. Even then I still wanted to keep playing...

Where as w/ [Prototype] I'm having a hard time even playing for more than 4 hours at a crack. At first it started so slow and boring, then picked up a little, and then all the sudden the story became such drivel it was uninteresting. I'm not a big fan of most of the side missions either so that doesn't help any. Sure there's several great powers and a good variety in, there's more fun to be had in terms of free roam sandbox, but it just doesn't prove to be a great game; imho. Overall, yes it's still a solid game but to me it doesn't even come close to matching the level of quality, style, and entertainment that inFAMOUS provides...

Assassins Creed is another story. Absolutely loved it despite it's flaws. Also considering it's a cheap game by now there's no excuse not to already own it. ;) If you're on a tight budget it would be a great buy but I seriously doubt anyone who would care hasn't already at least played AC. Honestly, I think they just threw AC in there in order not to create another inFAMOUS vs Prototype piece. I just can't wait to get my hands on AC2. ;)

Whats wrong with enjoying all 3? All have their good sides and bad sides. Overall they are 3 different games, great games.

I had a ton of fun playing through Prototype, still can barely get my hands off Infamous, will get Assassins Creed 2 day one.

Seriously this is not a VS. situation. It's not like you know you will be stranded on an island and can only take one game and a PS3 with you (Has to be a PS3 since it's the only platform where all 3 games are present).

Also it's not like you will play one of those games for years, leaving you no time to enjoy the other 2, or any other game. If it's a money situation, get one game at a time, they are all single player games so there really is no hurry.

Assassins creed is win.

I gotta say inFamous is my favorite game out of the three. But I find Assassin's Creed crowd interaction and traversing capabilities to be more fun. The first is quite obvious, inFamous had little. For the latter I find inFamous' a bit too sticky and jumpy. There are times I just want to get down to a ledge a distance down but I end up sticking to other objects midway through my fall. Wish there was a button I could hold down to cancel all the stickiness, that would help a lot. Another thing is that Assassin's Creed has a sense of speed when you get going, nothing like Mirror's Edge but out of the three it's the closest.

i wanto to buy assassins creed, i really liked that handglider, the diverse weapons system and the detail they have put into it.

anyone know if you can use that at anytime or is it just for that mission?

It would definitely be inFAMOUS. I did not like the story of Prototype and Assassins Creed was a bit more repetitive than inFAMOUS. In the end, AC and inFAMOUS are good games while Prototype is just not my bag.

inFamous, I didn't enjoy Assassins Creed 1 as much as inFamous.

inFamous. It just keeps you hooked and I like how they really got that feeling of height into the game. You almost get sick of the height on one of the towers...

AC has great visuals, but is soooo repetitive after the first city. I hope AC2 will be better. But its not out yet, so hard to compare. And Proto is too much gore for me. Senseless killing without story...(?)

PS3 owners face a harder decision due to larger versatility.
